Every year for the past 25 years we spent a week staying in Woolacombe. The beach is wonderful, wide and clean.

Good surf. Lovely sandy beach. When the tide goes out it goes for ages!! Sand dunes at the back. Rocks to climb on and rockpools to see some interesting creatures. But most of all, good surf..

Yes the parking is a little expensive, but you can easily get your money's worth if you give it the time. Huge beautiful sandy beach. Good for Body boarding. You can get muscles, cockles and various refreshments in the little chippy on your right as you reach the beach from the car park. Opposite the beach are wonderful surf shops and don't miss the little cafe on the corner for a fabulous 'snow capped' hot chocolate or a waffle!
