This hotel is about half a mile from Tiverton town centre, and it's walkable if you don't fancy hotel food.
The bathroom was very 1980s, and had a loo which found difficulty in flushing a tissue away, and a very old fashioned bath and basin.
The mattress was good enough, but the in-house pillows were like bags of sand and I had a terrible nights sleep.
The tv only gets around 15 channels and their free wi-fi kept disconnecting itself.
Breakfast was very average. and could be so much better with a little effort - I particularly dislike having a member of staff on duty to serve from the hot buffet - maybe it was because there was a coach-load of pensioners in, and they wanted to maintain portion control.

Three nights in Best Western Tiverton with Tesco Vouchers--which tactfully was never mentioned by staff. Executive Room was clean quiet well equipped and spacious with a large very comfortable bed and Sky tV. Seven course tasting menu the first night was excellent, Bar meals on other days also good . The staff were all very pleasant and responded quickly to requests. Don't be put off by the initial look of the hotel(a bit like a travel lodge) it is well run and well used.Ten minutes walk into Tiverton centre or up to the canal. Lyme Regis, Barnstaple Honiton and Exeter a short drive.

Just returned from a 2 night stay, we were booked into a superior room which was bright clean and roomy, the bed was King size a very comfortable, the bathroom is on the small side but that is all. We only eat in the restaurant only for breakfast which can be busy between 8 - 8.30 as quite a few planned coach trips use the hotel, so if you can eat a little later all the better. The selection on offer is excellent for both the English or continental and the service fast and friendly. We found the restaurant a bit pricey ie £22.50 for a steak and there is very good Italian restaurant in town which is much better value. All the staff are very helpful and polite and I would return again with without hesitation

My mother and I, as part of a large tour group with Worthing Coaches, stayed at the Tiverton Best Western for 5 days/4 nights. All I can say is that everything was perfect: from check-in at Reception, to our lovely comfortable room, to the lounge/bar area, the dining room which was staffed with such lovely helpful staff, and finally, but by no means least, the amazing food.

It seemed that everyone in our group was equally pleased - I don't see how anyone could find anything to complain about. The complimentary tea/coffee/bottles of water and toiletries were refreshed daily. Our request for a fan in our room was dealt with in about 5 minutes.

All in all, we had a brilliant time. My only complaint is that I am now 3 stone heavier than when I arrived!!!

Thank you Tiverton Best Western.

We stayed at this hotel for a two night leisure break in June. It was booked using Tesco Clubcard vouchers, in order to use clubcard vouchers the minimum stay was two nighs. We were given a spacious room on the ground floor which was perfect as we had our dog with us. There was a dog bowl, blanket and some dog chews in the room which was a nice touch. The room was at the back of the hotel which overlooked a small stream, so was very quiet. Breakfast was good, all the usual choices. Staff were very pleasant. We didn't use the hotel restaurant.

Stayed one night in an Executive Room (#72).
Good location, easy parking, large room, decent shower, good breakfast, but due to adjoining back wall being no more than a stud wall, dreadfully noisy - adjacent TV and guest might just as well have been in the same room as me. Even the light switches could be heard. After a long journey, not a good night's sleep and certainly not the best preparation for a day's meetings to follow! Strangely, the Reception staff seemed unaware of any problems or previous complaints.
Did not eat in the restaurant (drove to Bickleigh to the delightful Fisherman's Cot instead) but did have a rather expensive beer in the bar which resembled a home brew.
Would stay again if guaranteed a "quiet" room though.
