Now that my daughter and son-in-law have moved to Tiverton it's an ideal opportunity to try out different places to eat nearby so the Quarryman's Rest was the first on the list.
Arriving early on a cold and windy night it was virtually deserted and although we could have eaten in the bar we opted for the restaurant which was, and remained, empty. When we came to leave however the bar was heaving with lots of people eating there.
A fairly small menu, which I find is no bad thing, and good value prices too. I'd recommend the lamb shank.and my wife really enjoyed the fish course.
The only slight downside is that the car park is very small so you're probably better off parking in the street.
