Stayed here with my partner for 4 nights 7july, and loved it. Location is good can easily reach Paignton Torquay darkish etc and was easy to find! Stayed in a budget chalet due to booking via sun holidays and was pleased with how good it was. Entertainment is very good for kids and not bad for adults it's a caravan site so what do you expect, restuarant is a bit over priced for what it is but is ok. Sell thatchers gold which is a plus but at £3.40 it's what you expect! Would reccomend for families and couples!

Me and my partner stayed here for a week at the end of june with our 2 small dogs . We stayed in a chalet just as you come into the park , the chalet was lovely and spacious with 2 bed rooms a living area , bathroom and small kitchen. Beds werent very comfortable but you get what you pay for ! Only downside to our chalet location was that we didnt really have much of a view so next time id prefer to be closer to the river but i understand you are limited with dogs so thats why we were there . Another thing I felt like a lot of people were nosey and looked in as they were going past , not what you want when your chilling out when you have just woken up lol ! People were lovely and friendly and my little dogs loved sitting out on the balcony being nosey :) . One downside is we had some idiots across from us leaving their dogs inside all day and you could hear them howling round the park which I as a dog lover found quite distressing and inconsiderate for others to listen to this howling went on for hours , shouldnt have dogs really !!! Also some people did not poop scoop in the dog park again very inconsiderate this is not the parks fault but the fault of inconsiderate guests !We didnt use the resturant or any other facilities as we were out most of the time , electric is a little expensive £5 a day really ! Overall lovely holiday Devon is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay :) .

Room Tip: Try to get a caravan near the river edge , lovely views :)

This was our first visit to devon valley and it will not be our last, what a beautiful place to stay. The site itself was sitting on the river which gave fantastic views from the caravan. The caravan itself was ok for what we had paid but next time would probably get a chalet as they seem to have a bit more room inside.

The swimming pool was great and the kids loved it, amusements also good. Kids entertainment in the club each night was fantastic for the kids. There is a little shop on site for anything you run out of and a takeaway.

Great place for a family holiday, a bit of a long journey to get there but well worth the travel, weather was tropical and could not fault anything about the place, look forward to returning next year.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom caravan for a week in June! We couldn't believe how generous the caravan was, just the children's twin that was a little cramped, but manageable for the little ones. The caravan was clean and well presented with bedding provided on arrival. The kitchen has utensils but not really enough if you want to eat in and make meals for a family if 6, luckily we had enough up cook up a lunch and breakfast on a few days but ate out mostly. The on site pub/restaurant is medioca to say the least, below average pub grub but alright for a one off. The verandor is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink while watching the sun go down. Having an outdoor play area next to the pub was good and kept the children happy. The on site pool is generously sized and nice and clean, the children loved spending time in here. We took the children to the evening entertainment on a couple of nights which they loved and the entertainment team were friendly and welcoming!
All in all we had a fab week, it's in a great position, the park was safe and family friendly and it was near enough to Shaldon and Teignmouth to enjoy regular
visits! Good value for money too!

This was our second holiday here.we loved it as it is central to most attractions, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and the view of the river is absolutely incredible. We are definitely coming back next year.

Just got back from 2 weeks there. When I first arrived first impression has what a lovely view across the river. The park is well kept no sign of any litter. Booking in was quick. Staff was very polite on reception. We stayed in a sloop chalet at top end of the park. We had a dog with us so it was nice to see a good sized peace of grass for the dog to sit on. The chalet it self was a good size. All very clean. It did have a bath only. We did find like a lot of people that the bath only half filled before the water got cold. But I found that it heated up that quick by the time you got in the bath the water was hot again. The only problem I had with the chalet was the matteress on the beds were lumpy. Over the 2 weeks we used £15 electric, I did not think that was bad considering we had baths every night. We took the half board option and we did not regret it. Breakfast was cereal, 5 item cook breakfast ,toast and tea or coffee. 3 course evening meal and you had the option of paying a little extra if you wanted some thing not on the half board menu. The carvery that runs Fri to Mon is well worth a try and comes under half board. The staff running the meals and bar could not be any more friendly or polite. Entertainment was very good. I was told by the people next door that there little girl loved the children's entertainment. Swimming pool was not a bad size.Dog walking area very small. If you are looking for a quite family site with great views this is the one for you.

Room Tip: If you have a dog with you go for 17 to 20. Quite area ,good area of grass.

Sue, Pat, Angela and George,
Liverpool14/06/14 to 21/06/14. Stayed in Beamer Gold Chalets, 3 and 4.
We went in a party of 4 (2 couples) and chose this site on recommendation from my daughter who was there 2 years ago,
Very clean and tidy small site with a good range of accommodation to suit all tastes. On arrival we were delighted to be booked in straight away with no wait i.e. 3 hours early. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and that continued right throughout our stay. All the staff deserve huge credit for they work they do, especially the entertainments team and Craig (lifeguard) in the swimming pool whose helpful advice on places to visit was much appreciated.
The location of the camp (by the river) is excellent, with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The whole area is a beautiful part of the country with plenty of places to visits. I have no doubt that we will visit this camp again. Very enjoyable holiday.
P.S (to the management) Pay the staff a bonus because they are a credit to you.

Room Tip: We didn't hear any complaints from any holiday makers while we were there and many people have b...
