Thank you all for wonderful service, great food and excellent value for money. we all enjoyed our different fish dishes and you could tell they had been very well prepared with really good quality ingredients.
The atmosphere was excellent and although the restaurant was full the service was faultless and all the staff friendly. good luck with your new venture we shall return

Daughter and friends ate here on the Wednesday 2 burgers for £10 a couple of weeks ago and their impression was that the food was certainly not worth more than £5 and service was poor. Waitress and member of management at one stage in middle of restaurant pointing at tables discussing who was to pay etc. they had to ask several times before a jug of water was provided. So we thought it may have been a one off hiccup and decided to give it a go and try for ourselves. Wish we hadn't wasted our money.!!!
We had Camembert to start which was warm and that's about all you can say except the bread with it was not nice
For main we both ordered specials - salmon and prawn risotto was very sloppy and contained a few very small prawns (like cheapest supermarket prawns) and was very bland not even offered Parmesan cheese which may have helped the lack of flavour. The other main was Helens homemade aranchi balls which we were told were balls of rice, chicken, chorizo and prawns in a spicy tomato sauce. The 4 balls were probably 90 pct rice. We didn't find any prawns at all and very little chicken or chorizo, while the supposed spicy sauce tasted just like a tin of chopped tomatoes, maybe they forgot the spices!. We had a bill plonked on the table before we had finished which was for diners at another table. We pointed this out and asked for our own bill. We were not asked if everything was ok or indeed offered dessert menu or coffee and upon getting the bill we had been overcharged for both food and drinks !! This place could be so good, we have wonderful fresh ingredients locally, and although prices would suggest good ingredients are being used our experience is that we were served with the cheapest ingredients available. Compared to many other restaurants in Kingsbridge it is not impressive at all. Sadly.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment and equally disappointed that we were not made aware at the time. Such a pity for yourselves to leave it until after your meal to advise us here and us not be able to make good your dissatisfaction at the time of your meal. We would have been only too pleased to put it right. As an entirely new business we are working incredibly hard to provide a pleasing eatery with good food & drinks for local people and feedback is really important to enable us to correct things or improve when they aren't as we or customers would wish. Contrary to your comments, we do in fact use good local suppliers for our produce, we strive to offer value for money and shall continue improving our product as our business develops. I think I may well have adjusted your bill myself, immediately upon you bringing it to my attention ? I believe I erroneously charged £13.50 for the Arrancini and it should have been £12.95, and something else I recall which we corrected at the time - I cannot be sure, but in any case I would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in our product should you choose to return. Thank you.

Went here for lunch with two girlfriends recently and were welcomed and looked after beautifully by Helen the Manager. We were delighted as we all recognised both Helen and Billy, the chef, and knew their cooking and service was going to be great! Not disappointed.
Delicious seafood- we all had amazing crab and prawn salads which couldn't have been fresher. Beautifully presented and tasty salad. Tiny downstairs, but with a lovely bar- an evening out with my husband would be lovely- larger upstairs reached up the chic spiral staircase ( other stairs to rear if needed) and fresh minimalist decor making the most of the Devon warehouse architecture , small and intimate setting, great for small groups, couples or as we were that day, ladies who lunch!

Visited recently on a Saturday night for a special occasion. Food really was excellent, atmosphere good and attended to by a most pleasant owner. Let down by a couple of (new?) members of staff who clearly needed to get to know Service - but provided us with some fun talking points! (eg. The waiter arrives at our table carrying plates and then asks "is this your food?"). Would certainly recommend and visit again.

Thank's so much for taking the time to give us some feedback. Am delighted to hear you had a great night, if entertaining in places! Our fledgling waiter was on his first shift facing Actual Customers, so thank you for bearing with - a few weeks in he is now finding real confidence and a real asset to the team and customers. We look forward to hopefully seeing you again soon.

Went on Friday night x

Had a delicious meal - james seafood chowder was amazing. Obviously, being new, there are a few teething problems (no wine list!) but I'm sure they are working on this. We will most certainly be going back, the food was excellent, great value for money (so good we will even take the kids) - I would highly recommend and wish the owners lots of luck.....

Tiny weeny point - the laminated menus cheapen you excellent food and surroundings x
