I live locally and go here for afternoon tea - scones, jam and cream (of course) when I am in Kingsbridge. The owners are relaxed and friendly, the menu and prices are good and there is even the cafe cat to stroke when you need extra relaxation!

Spent a morning walking round Kingsbridge and by the quayside, and enjoying the food and drink fesitval that was on, and we stumbled across 'the meeting room' and went in for brunch. Husband had american breakfast and I had sausage and pancakes. Amazing food. Lovely staff and helpful as we were asking questions about attractions and nearest supermarkets and Judy was very knowledgable which was great for us. Also the sausage I had was the best ever, local produce, v good.

Visited this cafe whilst out for the day visiting Kingsbridge/Salcombe and could not fault it.The staff were friendly and welcoming and the cafe was quirky and pleasant.I had ham/eggs/chips and the wife tried the chicken gougons. The food was excellent, tasty with ample portions and served very quickly. We managed to share a chocolate brownie which was hot and delicious. If you are in the area then it is well worth a visit as the price is very reasonable and it is also licenced.Would definately eat here again.

Good value food. Service was quick, There was plenty of info around for the tourist and lists of film times at the local cinema were under the glass table tops which was a nice idea. You have a choice of bottled local ales which is nice. Struggled for choices for the veggie. Would have been nice to have an option of a veggie burger with other burgers on menu .I had a jacket potato which was fine with a good size salad garnish. My partner said the burger was ok.We didn't have room for the puddings on the separate pudding menu. This place was open on Sunday not all cafes are in Kingsbridge we found
