“Holiday Heaven”

Beautiiful. Stunning. Superior hospitality by Sue and Piers. Absolutely loved my mini-holiday in the country/beach-side. I highly recommend this location if you want to get away from it all, have access to gorgeous beaches, a good long hike along the cliffs, a lazy, peaceful breakfast in your own little garden. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a definite 'must' when you just want to get away from it all.

Liked best: The serenity of the farm and it's access to the coastline
Liked least: I can't complain about anything at all.

“Charm, comfort and good hospitality in South Hams”

The property is a new conversion which manages to combine modern comforts with a country style - wifi and fully equipped kitchen with a charming patio garden and a wood burner. Piers and Sue are nearly always around and extremely helpful and fun. We had some of their home grown pork and would recommend.
We had not been to S Hams before. It reminds us of N Norfolk in that good eateries are in abundance. The cottage guest book is a useful starting point. During our week we stayed in a 30 mile or so stretch from Bigbury on Sea to Dartmouth and there was so much to do we were not remotely bored. We hope this will not be our only stay.

A lovely, well set up cottage in a farm setting. There is everything you could need here and the owners are very helpful and full of suggestions to ensure you can make the most of your stay. An excellent location to explore the south west. We had a wonderful week (helped by some very sunny weather!). A highly recommended place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Rose Cottage, it is set in a great location and has everything you could need for a relaxing breat in the countryside. Piers was very accomodating and even included a lovely welcome pack of local produce, which was a lovely surprise. The cottage is in a perfect location for visiting surrounding towns, cities and the local pubs. We would highly recommend this Cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing break in the South Hams.

“Fantastic cosy hideaway in a great part of South Devon”

Rose Cottage at Cotmore Farm is a perfect place for a south Devon getaway. Near Beeson and not far from Beesands and Start Point, it is an ideal base for exploring the area. The cottage is very well appointed and is as warm (even in a cold and wet February) as Piers’ greeting. We were encouraged to explore the farm and enjoyed a wander around to meet the chickens and the pigs.
The ‘welcome pack’ that included eggs from the farm and a loaf of excellent bread plus homemade jam was a lovely surprise.
We loved our stay here and recommend it without hesitation.
