“Once you find this place you will return again and again.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012

We have been staying at Raleghs Cross on a regular basis so found Driftwood on our first visit. Since then Blue Anchor and Driftwood have always been on our visiting list . The food is such good vaue with such a lovely staff who we feel we have known for years as they make everyone so welcome. Food is all prepared on site whether it's a cooked meal - terrific range - to a large selection of cooked on site cakes. A must visit

“A nice surprise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2012

This cafe has great views but little atmosphere. However, we had dinner there one night and were very pleasantly surprised. The battered cod & chips was perfectly cooked, well priced and the wine was good (altho very little choice). Would definitely go back

“Wonderful Cafe!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2010

Hidden in the Anchor centre is a the best Cafe in the area!
Locally sourced food, good value for money and a reassuringly simple menu combine to provide a great dining experience!
The Ham egg and chips are superb, as is the Prawn salad and great to find classically simple but well presented food for a good price!
Also you can have the pleasure of outdoors dining, in the covered courtyard of the Anchor centre, and dogs are welcome!
