We first came across the Tower Inn 32 years ago as we stayed here on our honeymoon, and I am glad to say it has not changed a bit. The staff and owners are very helpful and cannot do enough for you. Food is excellent and rooms comfortable. We took our aged broder terrier with us and he was welcomed in both the pub and the accomadation, will certainly visit again.

I stayed at the Tower Inn for two nights in March 2011 before a friends wedding in Chillington. The location of the B&B was amazing, just a short walk to the beach and with great pubs in the local area. The staff were lovely, always welcoming and happy to help in any way they could. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here and hope to return myself in the future.

We came across the Tower Inn when walking the coastal path. We had decided to have an amble round Slapton Ley and one of the routes took us into the village. The Tower Inn is tucked away but well worth seeking out. We were blessed with a lovely sunny day and so chose to have a drink in the courtyard. It hadn't really been our intention to eat lunch there but the menu was interesting and we were both drawn to the Sea Bass in a light vodka battter - it was delicious! We saw food brought to other tables and it all looked equally scrummy - the sandwiches were enormous! We received a warm welcome, from staff and locals and we will certainly return.

I have visited The Tower Inn on many occasions as it is a family favourite. The food is exquisite, always fresh and beautifully presented, on top of this it is served by friendly efficient staff. On our trips we have visited lots of other local pubs and none can match The Tower Inn on food, service or ambience.
When we arrived for our Sunday Lunch the fire was roaring, drawing pads and pencils provided for our daughter and addictive mulled wine to get rid of the chill!
The next night we decided to eat here again and the staff couldn't do enough for us - we were with a friend who is vegan and the chef willingly - and beautifully- provided an amazing meal!
Personally I wouldn't eat any where see in the area!

We spent an afternoon and night at the Tower Inn. We had no idea of what to expect, but found the staff very friendly and helpful, a good selection of cask beers and cider, good food and a comfy bed.

All you need for a great couple of days ago.

Would definitely go back.....

Very quaint family run pub in the heart of a beautiful village. Fantastic food and wine, very friendly staff, enjoyed the experience knowing our dog was welcome into both the pub and guest room. The stay was made to feel very personal from helping us into the carpark which is tight but accessible to a wonderfull breakfast made to order.
See you next year !!

We've stayed at The Tower Inn on several occasions and each time we've been made very welcome and greeted as friends. The beer is kept well and tastes fresh. The food is excellent and is comparable to a lot of expensive restaurants. It certainly is the best pub food I've tasted and I've been to a lot of pubs and restaurants! The wine is great too. Try the local Sharpham white wine; it suits my palate! Everyone we've met there has included us in their conversations and we've always had a great time.
