“Lovely relaxing Break”
Reviewed March 18, 2018 for a stay in September 2017

We stayed here at Maple Lodge while we were visiting family in Cornwall. We like to book somewhere with a hot tub as a treat and where they allow dogs too. This Lodge is second to none and very well equipped and decorated. The kitchen is very modern and has everything you would need. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and ironing board. The lounge has many large windows and is very clean, the furniture is very comfortable too. There is a family type bathroom which is well equipped and clean as well as an en suite off the master bedroom. The beds are very comfortable. The hot tub is great with lights that change colour and plenty of jets, very relaxing. The decking around the outside of the Lodge also has a table and chairs for outside dining. The decking probably could do with a bit of a clean as it was a bit slippy in places. The Wifi is at the nearby Betty Cottles Inn but is very slow and almost non existent. We ate at Betty Cottles the first night we were there but unfortunately the food was only average, maybe it is not always like this hopefully, as we had a Sunday carvery there too which was much better. The town of Okehampton is just down the road and we were quite central for visiting places. All in all it was a lovely stay, the weather could have been better but it is England so you can never tell, and that had no bearing on the Lodge. We would definitely stay here again.
