“A LOVELY TRADITIONAL PARK”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

When you’re tired with the beach, this is the place to come. Phear Park has most things for most people. There’s plenty of grass to run on, a large fallen tree to climb, an impressive skate-board facility, a café, and a putting and an 18-hole pitch and putt course. There’s plenty of parking – just keep driving along the park’s narrow road.

“A traditional English town park”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

A pleasant enough park, with a good pitch 'n' putt golf course, some tennis courts, play area etc. It's a good place to relax when the sun is shining, but it's fairly modest in scale, and can be 'haunted' by teenagers at night.

“Great Skate park”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

This is a lovely park with all the usual activities you'd expect from a park but with the added extra of a magnificent skate park. Perfect for entertaining the older kids.
