Owner description: Devon's multi-award-winning all-weather day out for the whole family! You can ride on the deer train or take a goat for a walk! Get up close to the animals in the pet centre or burn off some energy in one of the three different soft play areas, Pirate Ship Adventure or outdoor adventure playground. There's also a museum of farming and an indoor Victorian Street, featuring a dairy, cottage & pub! The vintage & classic car collection features vehicles that have appeared in Downton Abbey, Mr Selfridge & Parade's End. Then there's the steam engines and Reg Imray motorcycle collection. To top it all off there are daily ferret, lamb or duck racing shows and the excellent Hawkridge Bird of Prey flying display. Refuel at Farmer Lee's Food Barn restaurant or grab some local food to go from the Pasty Shack! With so much to see, come rain or shine, can you do it all in a day?!

“Good day out!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

We took our two year old here, its a lovely day out. He loved the soft play areas (good as it was a cold drizzly day!) and he liked feeding the goats. Also the museum bits are worth a walk round too! Really good value for money and a good day out.

“Great value and loads to do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

We bought a summer season ticket and visited about 3 or 4 times over the summer. There was loads to do and the kids especially enjoyed the deer train (they take you into the deer park, then you can feed the deer and llamas by hand). Each time the kids found something different to do and they loved running around the whole site. The birds of prey/falconry section is really recommended, though I didn't dare take my boisterous 3 year old in! The calmer 7 year old loved it though. We'd definitely go back, especially as the season ticket offers are so good. The summer season ticket only cost the equivalent of one and a half tickets, so on the second visit you'd already saved. There's lots of play equipment for all ages including trampolines, a zip wire, some mini houses and a huge bumpy slide. The ferret racing and lamb feeding also went down well. One one visit we ate in the restaurant (just on the side as you go in): the food was good quality and served quickly: price was comparable with a Wetherspoons, but the quality was much better, so I'd definitely eat there again.

“Great place for families”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

We went with our six year old son in the half term.Although it was quite expensive for the ticket entrance price once in there was plenty to do and we all loved the falconry display and being able to go inside the pen with the goats and lambs and feed them. The huge slide was very popular with the children and they have a big indoors activity centre/climbing frame and a pirate ship the kids can explore. The animals looked well cared for and the centre nice and clean.A good place to come to and a nice walk to get to from the coastal path in exmouth along national trust land

“Great day out for the kids!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

We went to the park during half term and had a fantastic day out. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family, from the soft play areas, trampolines, pirate ship and vintage museum. The falconry display was really entertaining and gets you up close to these fantastic birds. The kids loved the deer train safari and were thrilled to feed the deer and lamas! Lots of under cover play areas which ideally caters for our British climate! Plenty of toilet facilities which are clean and well looked after and well stocked catering facilities. Will definitely return!
