We had an amazing weeks holiday in Cascade cottage. It was like being at a home away from home with fantastic hosts that are Simon and Penny. The breakfast menu is well worth a try with an excellent vegetarian full English breakfast and even iced coffee.
I would recommend Edgcott to anyone looking for a wonderful break in the beautiful English countryside whether one night or more it is well worth a visit.

We stayed at Edgcott House for my birthday weekend and could not have picked a better place! We loved the house, setting, big room with space for the pair of us plus our dog, and Penny’s homemade gourmet breakfasts! Could not ask for a better weekend spot. Plus Simon had advise on all the local biking trails and recommendations for dinner.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room #1 which has a large king bed, couch, wardrobe, desk, en-suite bathroom and great...

What an absolute gem of a BnB. We stayed for 1 nights and could quite happily have moved in.

The house itself is beautiful, set in idyllic gardens. Inside is stepped in history but also very modern.

Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfy! We were happy to be welcome by cake with the lightest sponge.

Breakfast in the morning was a real treat. The menu boasts the usual favourites and also plenty more.

10/10 we shall certainly return and recommend to all.

Thanks,

Jules and craig

This place is a find! We stayed here to attend a friend's wedding and were just delighted by the whole experience. The house is beautiful, the owners are lovely, and their breakfasts are phenomenal - I would honestly go so far as to say the best breakfasts I have ever had!
The house is tastefully decorated and has a lovely garden. Our room was little, but sensibly thought out so that we had everything we needed. As well as the tea and coffee, we had lovely cake waiting for us in our room when we returned at night. It's the little touches that make a place exceptional, and here, everything is just right.
The toiletries were also delightful - I am missing the moisturiser now it's gone!
Really, I couldn't fault this experience. If the owners ever have the opportunity or the desire, I would suggest they open a restaurant too - I have no doubt it would be a hit.
Fantastic stay - thank you!

what a wonderful place to stay: so delicately decorated, beautiful garden, best breakfast we ever had in Britain, so good to lay back an relax in nice rural surrounding. An Extra is the so called "long room" where you can spend quiet evening hours and where the excellent breakfast is served. We have to come back!

A wonderful location, an amazing house, with some yummy chocolate cake. However, breakfast was a delight, such a varied menu, that changes each day.

Looking forward to going back. For some great walking, and mountain biking.

This is a very good B&B. We have just spent one night there. The welcome was very friendly. The rooms are very spacious, immaculately clean and well-equipped. The breakfast is very good - both for a traditional English or if you want something a but more unusual. All made using local ingredients. A nice home-cooked brownie and cup of tea on arrival.

The whole place is tastefully decorated. It is more like staying in a nice country house than a B&B, and is as far removed from the normal, stereotypical British B&B as it is possible to get. It is very quiet.
