“We were very pleased with the cottage.”
Reviewed August 25, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

The cottage has all the creature comforts you could wish for - a home from home. The rooms are spacious and clean. The cottage is also in an excellent location with a fantastic view of the beach and sea. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing holiday with great accommodation - look no further.

“Home from home with fantastic view”
Reviewed August 13, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

The bungalow is in a quiet location and is approached up a narrow steep road which can be tricky if you drive a large car. The interior of the property is very modern and comfortable and a "home from home" with every facility you may need. The kitchen is clean and very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The living room and kitchen areas have hard floor surfaces which are ideal for keeping clean, particularly if you have your beloved family dog on holiday with you. There is an outside tap which is handy to wash sand from dog's paws and family members feet before entering the property following time spent on the beach and rock pooling. The beach is just a short walk away and there is a panoramic view of the bay from the bungalow's balcony which is just great. The general rear garden area of the property was a little untidy, but we spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the views. In conclusion, a brilliant holiday was had by all and we'll have to go a long way to find a holiday home better than St Crispins. Congratulations to the owners.

“Stupendous views, light and airy accommodation”
Reviewed April 24, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

St.Crispins was the perfect bungalow for myself and two women friends, as all the bedrooms are fitted out nicely, with no poky third bedroom which you get with some holiday rental properties. So we could enjoy a nice bedroom each. However the bungalow would be equally as good for a family with children and other groups. We chose the bungalow because of where it was situated near all the shops, pubs and eateries, as welll as the well stocked supermarkets. But the wow factor was of course the wonderful views, far reaching westwards towards Cornwall and overlooking the sweet little beach. One could peer down and watch life in microscopic detail, on the wrap around balcony or from inside in the beautifully appointed living room. It was heaven eating our meals with this vista strectched before us, watching the ever changing clouds which for me far outweighs watching TV......so restful.Natures abundance is there right before before your very eyes and ears. Another novel thing for me was listening to the sea,and the songbirds, simultaneously, with my bedroom window open. Usually it's noisy seagulls which are not music to my ears. All equipment and furnishings were good quality, and met all our needs. We had a wonderful hike to Wild Pear Beach which was a challenge but we enjoyed it, and there are many other scenic walks all close at hand. Also if you love cakes then you must visit "Tom's Cakes", who is a local and is a trained French Patisserie chef, his cakes are a little bit of heaven and better then I've eaten in France, indulge! Thank you Alix for a lovely spring holiday.
