“Lovely property, superb views and helpful friendly owners”

We visited the property at the end of September and were extremely lucky with the weather, the property is superb, it has everything that you could possibly want in the way of equipment and views to die for.
We have two dogs and found the enclosed garden was ideal for them to have a run around, however as there are numerous walks directly from the door they were usually too tired. The owners were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, on the Sunday we walked down to Hunters Inn for lunch and Sarah warned us the walk home was a bit taxing and even offered to pick us up if we gave her a ring. This part of Devon is beautiful and really accessible from this property. Thank you again for a lovely relaxing stay Ali and Jason

“Wide horizons, great walks.”
Reviewed November 13, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Brilliant views over the Bristol channel to Wales, relax and take in the broad horizon.
Great cliff top walks from the door, burn off a pub lunch returning from the Hunter's Lodge in the Heddon Valley. Lots to see and do nearby including Arlington Court and Lynton/Lynmouth, don't miss more great dog walking at Watersmeet.
Well equipped and clean accommodation with full Sky TV package for a cosy evening (or odd wet day) sat in front of a film.
Secure garden for the dog and friendly hosts who were available but not intrusive.
Would certainly recommend Moorlands-to-Sea.

“The Best Short Break EVER!”
Reviewed November 3, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

My husband, son and I have just returned from a long weekend at Moorlands and it was so so lovely I wanted to tell everyone! Firstly, Sarah and Gordon are the nicest cottage owners we have ever met and believe me, we have met tons. We cannot wait to come back because of the beautiful surroundings and views, gorgeous walks, stunning cottage (internally and externally) and the best owners to date. I could not moan about anything. Thank you to Sarah and Gordon and we hope to see you in the future. Best wishes x

“What A Find!!!”

Beautiful holiday let with gorgeous views out to sea (on a clear day you can see over to Wales). A lovely enclosed garden perfect for my dog allowing her to roam freely. Wow , the kitchen is a show stopper and so well equipped. The boys in my group were very impressed with the Sky package as they could keep up to date with the cricket. There are number of walks straight from the bungalow. The owner and her bassets hounds were very welcoming . This was one of the best holiday lets we have ever had . Combe Martin Carnival was on when we visited ( Early August) and there was something on most days.In nearby Ilfracombe there are many sea trips available.
