Stumbled across the FBI whilst walking from Brixham to Kingswear via Greenway and Dittisham. Lovely atmosphere, views and food. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely go back if in the area again.

Ditisham is an idilic village upstream from Dartmouth on the River Dart. Parking is limited in the village but an alternative is via the daytime only Ditisham Ferry from Dartmouth or splash out and make it memorable by travelling in the evening by water taxi from Dartmouth. The FBI overlooks Ditisham pool with it's moored yachts and cruisers. On a warm summers evening, chill and relax as you watch the sunset from the front of the FBI. Book in advance, the FBI is always busy and if you can reserve the front window table all the better. Low beamed ceilings, Excellent food and a great atmosphere.
Never to be forgotton.

This is the secnd visit but will go more often. Made to feel welcome straightaway, a good range of food.

I had fish and chips and it was excellent, served on a big plate without fancy baskets for chips etc!!

My wife fancied curry of the day (there was a choice of three) but couldn't decide which, so at the chefs suggestion she had some of all three, plus pickle, plus poppadom.

A warm and comfortable and relaxing evening - shame to have to go home!

Back to Dittisham and our most favourite pub for Mick's 65th Birthday hopefully no swimming in the river as too cold in February. Best pub, best food, best landord & landlady, can't wait to see you all, Mick & Mel, (involuntary swimming) will be in on Saturday 15th Feb xx

We first visited in July on a warm summer's evening with the place buzzing. The food preparation was timely considering the the number of customers and served piping hot and all courses were of high quality. With its amazing views as well, it certainly lived up to its reputation of being one of the places to visit on a trip to Dartmouth.

We visited again tonight on a cool dark November evening and although obviously quieter than in the height of the summer, the place still has not lost its magic. Friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome and a meal of delicious seafood pancakes followed by a wonderful chocolate desert finished our visit to Dartmouth on a high. Thank you!
