chicken balls, house special rice, pancake rolls, spare ribs, mushroom/onions. less than £20 for a super slap up chinese take away, very nice taste, good quantity, excellent!

I am sorry I cannot see why people are going on about the outside, this restaurant is in a lovely setting with the river outside with swans and ducks sailing by, in the evening it is all lit up, on the night we was there they had Morris dancers on the green, the food and the service was excellent, we were a group of 11 people and everyone said how wonderful the food was, the cost was very reasonable and the staff couldn't do enough for us, the owner of the restaurant was very nice and helpful, please if ever you are in Dawlish visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed

I love the food there, always get myself a lemon chicken and a soft chicken! The staff are quick and nice to talk to, overall a great restaurant

£45 for the combo stater for two, two meat and one noodle dish, one small wine and a beer. The food was tasteless apart from the spare ribs in the combo. I eat out a lot in Brighton where I live and get excellent good value food there. On holiday in Dawlish, we wanted a Chinese and we were very dissapointed.

Whilst holidaying in Cofton we fancied a chinese takeaway and happened to come across the "Hoi Shing" we food was ridiculously tasty ! and to bring it back to our camping site to eat it under the stars with a glass or two of cold beer was fantastic. Spicy spare ribs, chicken fried rice, singapore noodles and curry may sound simple but to was so good we had it twice during the holiday! - the chap serving us reminded me a little of a Chinese Basil Fawlty which was highly amusing.
