This is a tricky one to review as it is absolutely NOT a 'professional' museum but it's very nature is fascinating. The problem, I think, is that learning about the dark side of life is usually uncomfortable for most people but we are drawn and indeed we should be informed. Expect mixed emotions and reactions. Not a jolly one for the kiddies.
Cheap to enter at £3 for adults with usual reductions, free adjacent car park, easy access past the jolly little gnomes (escapees !) to see the torture rack. No pics. Have fun picking out the grammatical errors, weak lighting but learn lots of things you never knew; how about the 'forgotten war' of 1812 ?
Sorry but things do need a bit of a sharpen up here so it's only a '2' from me at the moment but let's hope next time I can make it more. I hope this is helpful.
