Holidaying in the area so called for a meal. The head of house was very pleasant as were the serving staff . We hadn't booked but didn't have to wait long. What looked like a cracking menu turned out to be a bit hit and miss. I don't mind paying if the food is good value but sadly it wasn't for some. £14 for a curry which had 6 pieces of beef in it (2 of which were too fatty to eat) with a tiny circle of rice with a chapati bread. Everyone else had a fish meal which they all said was fine. The interior is lovely and as i said the staff were very pleasant , it's just the hit and miss of the menu that's frustrating .
