I popped in here after a trip on the railway and really didn't expect to stay so long. It's very relaxing in both the Butterfly area and Otter area, and time just flys by.
I guess how long you stay entirely depends upon your love of wildlife and how long you want to relax there for. You can walk around very quickly, but if you're not stopping to watch the wildlife, then what's the point.
I would recommend hanging around or coming back for one of the feeding times - the ticket allows you to come back again during the day (which is pretty good for £8.50). Tim goes pen to pen and gives a talk about the otters, allowing you to see some of the ones that may not have been viewable before. You can definitely see how much he cares about them.
