We spend a 2 night weekend break at this B&B and would recommend it if you think about visiting Dartmoor and are looking for a nice place to stay. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and the B&B is a converted farm. Don't forget to hire a car though.

We stayed in the loft room for four nights 20/8-24/8. This room is fantastic, extemely spacious with the biggest bed we have ever slept in. The bathroom is also huge, modern and well equipped. All bedding, towels etc are of top quality. Breakfast is very good and varied. The owners Julia and Martin looked after us very well with good suggestions on the local area. We would not hesitate in recommending KIlbury Manor...It is excellent. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again..Verna and Mike

We have just stayed for 2 nights at Kilbury Manor in the Loft Room which was wonderful.
It is ideally placed for the coast and Dartmoor. The gardens are lovely and it does feel you are tucked away from everything. It helped that the weather was
great, not a cloud for the time we were down there.

Breakfast was extremely good with fruit, cereals, as well as full breakfast if you wanted.

Julia and Martin were excellent hosts and we will certainly stay there again when in the

We've just returned from 4 nights at the excellent Kilbury Manor in Buckfastleigh. A beautiful B&B with welcoming and friendly hosts, Kilbury Manor is exactly as described and more. The B&B is beautifully decorated and instantly feels like home from home. We spent our stay between the Moor Room and the Loft, both providing an excellent nights' sleep and all the comforts you require. The absolute highlight of the stay though was the breakfast each morning and in particular Julia's delicious French Toast! I would recommend this B&B to people and can't wait to return ourselves to discover more of Dartmoor.

Room Tip: Try the French Toast.......you won't be disappointed.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay and we were delighted with this gorgeous B&B.

Just as described on the website in every way. A peaceful retreat just 10 mins walk from Buckfastleigh and ideally situated to explore Dartmoor and surrounding area of Devon.

We stayed in the Loft Room - a spacious, beautifully decorated and appointed room. Very luxurious in every way, from the huge comfortable bed, the gorgeous bathroom and supplied toiletries etc. It's also the attention to detail and quality throughout that sets this B&B apart from anywhere else we have stayed for the money.

The owners, Julia and Martin, were so welcoming and friendly. They encouraged us to make use of the spacious gardens and seating area (which we did) and we enjoyed sitting by the pond. We were befriended by their adorable dogs, who were so friendly and well behaved; we were sad to leave them!

The icing on the cake was the breakfasts in the morning in their beautiful breakfast room in the main house. Lovely food, nicely prepared with the highest quality, local ingredients. We liked the fact that we had our own table rather than sitting around one large shared table as is the case in some other B&Bs we've stayed in.

I cannot fault Kilbury Manor and wouldn't hesitate in returning. Great value for money and the highest quality throughout.

About the 3rd week of May, my sister, her husband, my hubby and I stayed at this delightful bed and breakfast. It is located in a quiet part of town in pretty grounds. We stayed in the Loft room, which is in a converted barn and done so tastefully. We had a super king sized bed, plenty of room to move around and a beautiful, modern bathroom. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of extra touches to make it special. I loved the fact that there was a small fridge outside of our room with fresh milk in it for our tea. Breakfast was a treat, with locally provided honey and jams, great cooked breakfast and wonderful breads. We stayed 2 nights, but wished it for longer as everything was just perfect. Julia and Martin's dogs even provide a welcome! Really hope to return there some day.

Room Tip: We liked being upstairs, so that we would not hear anyone walking around above. My sister was in th...
