“Excellent facilities for a family weekend”

A large, extremely well-appointed, renovated farmhouse. Welcoming but not intrusive host, Geoff. He kindly supplied us with a welcome hamper of bread, bacon, sausages, cake and......duck eggs! Free unlimited logs for the woodburner although there was also central heating. Both very welcome on a cold January weekend. Wonderful opportunity for the grandchildren to accompany Geoff feeding the livestock. Do take care with the potholes on the track to the farmhouse. All in all, a great house for a large family reunion.

“Great house, warm welcome and fantastic farm produce!”

What a great house, well maintained, clean, plenty of space for everyone and all the rooms with en' suites - well equipped kitchen and nice garden, with BBQ. The location is very good, remote enough that you feel you've gotten away form urban life. However, what really made it was the welcome from the hosts, Geoff and Rebecca. On arrival there was a huge homemade cake and fresh loaf of bread, bacon, sausages and duck eggs from the farm - all free range and delicious. We were able to get more produce from Geoff - including possibly the best mutton I've tasted, they even allowed us to pick veggies from their garden. In the morning it was possible to do a farm tour and feed the animals, and they took the time to explain how the farm worked. The consensus was we would definitely stay here again.

Dunley House is a lovely house which quickly became a lovely home for a family holiday. Plenty of space, well equipped and clean and comfortable rooms each with an en-suite bathroom/shower room and in a quiet location in easy reach of many amenities and attractions. We loved to go out with Geoff and feed and meet the animals. Would love to go again.

Geoff was a fantastic host when are stag part stayed earlier this year. The house was clean tidy and in great condition. We were able to buy fresh farm produce from Geoff during the stay which was a unique experience, fresh bacon, sausages and eggs.

Geoff was very accommodating, even helping us out by giving us a lift to the local pub one evening in the back of his van.

Thankyou for making a difference to our long weekend Geoff.
