“Interesting clocks”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

Worth an hours visit, variety of things to see, spent a long time watching the clocks, fascinating. We did not get there until quite late in the afternoon and the glass blowing had stopped, would consider going again to see this.

“A nice lunch spot.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2012 via mobile

The central theme of the House of Marbles is revealed in its namesake: the several marble runs which grace the halls of this quirky museum make for an interesting watch The cafe offers a good selection of sandwiches and an excellent cream tea.

“Lovely dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012 via mobile

We ate here recently whilst visiting friends in Devon and visiting The House of Marbles to pick up a few stocking fillers and decorations. Each of the three of us had something different and we were all pleased with the food and the service. The falafel were superb, as was the home made chicken, bacon and leek pie. So many attractions tag on a restaurant with second rate food, but here the food was definitely not an after thought but meant to be enjoyed and served with pride. We shall certainly return.
