Booked long weekend here at Quayside hotel - room 8, bedroom more than adequate, lovely large bathroom area too and small balcony, with an amazing view of the harbour.
Breakfast every morning was super, staff very efficient and breakfast choices were plentiful.
Couple of pubs had entertainment of the evening which was great, and the bar adjoining the hotel had a group singing Sunday Eve, again nice touch.
Overall a very relaxing, warm and friendly stay at this hotel.

A group of 6 of us went to the Quayside in February and had a wonderful weekend. The food is excellent and the rooms very good although we were a little bit tucked away. Brixham is a very picturesque town and we were only 2 minutes from the harbour and about the same to the shops. There are excellent pubs and restaurants nearby if you fancy eating somewhere different (Poop Deck recommended for seafood lovers). The only slight drawback is the car park is about 2 or 3 minutes walk from the hotel although you could drop off your luggage and then move the car as there are yellow lines straight outside.Overall though as mentioned earlier a good weekend had by all.

I've just returned from a 2 night midweek stay with my girlfriend. It was a surprise birthday gift for my girlfriend (after watching the 'Fish Town' series which we loved). I wanted somewhere special to stay, and paying nearly £300 for the 2 nights, I'd expected to find that here. Yes it has great views and the location is literally a stones throw from the harbour. It was clean and tidy etc etc, and the staff were very helpful and approachable. In short, loved Brixham but found this very expensive for what it was. Wouldn't stay here again, purely for the price. It's more expensive than a lovely hotel called The Bury Head hotel.

We stayed here last night and didnt get any sleep due to the uncomfortable pillows and mattress and the sheer heat in the room. The hotel is dated and full of old people and charged way ovet the top for what it actually is. I would not rush back there in a hurry. Staff are polite and a litle excentric.
