I have been here a number of times, it is great for cream teas, sandwiches etc. They do decent breakfasts too and the prices are very resonable.

We have been down on holiday for Easter and found the farm shop and their cafe- what a great place. We sometimes had 2 meals a day there- one of their superb breakfasts with a proper coffee and then back for cake and more coffee, The farm shop is like a grown ups sweet shop with so much choice of goodies to take back, why can't we have one of these places back at home! They were busy at both ends but the service was excellent and we met the owners who were always working as well either in shop or cafe. Great atmosphere.

We were out walking the dog with the family and popped in to Caroline's Kitchen for lunch. The bacon and brie baguettes were delicious, and plenty of choice. The speciality hot chocolate was lovely and there was plenty of coffee in the pot. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dog was very welcome, even had water for him. Will go back again.

We like to support small local businesses, but we were left totally shocked by the extremely rude member of staff. The establishment had signage informing visitors that they stop serving at 4.30p.m. We arrived just minutes after 4 p.m. & only wanted a hot drink & a slice of cake. There were other customers sat at the tables & when we walked in a member of staff was cleaning the floor. She sighed loudly as she had to stop to serve us. When we were ordering, she was unfriendly, continually sighing, slamming things down & even 'rolling' her eyes. We were shocked by her behaviour & have never come across such a rude waitress. Another customer overheard our conversation about the service & she informed us that the member of staff is the same to her! (We did leave before 4.30 p.m.) Unbelievable. In the future, we will be going to another local cafe which appreciates our custom.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a go for Sunday lunch. We had the two courses for £7.95.
What really let this place down was the service or rather lack of it. The waitresses didn't greet me in any way when I went to the till to place my order: I had to wait for one to finish doing something before she took my order with no word of apology or anything. The order was taken without a smile or any friendly gesture.
The meal itself was Ok - my husband enjoyed his soup; the pork was sliced very thinly as though it had come presliced? - the veg was nice; my bread and butter pudding was very poor - don't have it!
