This is a lovely spot with a nice cafe - as per usual you need some change to pay for parking. On a nice day get there early as the car park fills up by about lunch time. The views are lovely and there is a nice walk. The guide says it takes an hour which is fair if you are ambling and taking photo's - not a major stretch if you are a little more adventurous.

If you are even remotely interested in birds then this is a fantastic place to spot them. At the moment the guillemots are nesting on the cliffs and the newly built hide is the perfect place to see them. In the next month or so the young guillemots will all dive from the safety of their nests into the water for the first time, it is amazing. You are also likely to see cirl buntings, wheatears, white throats, stonechats and so many other birds. Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes because although once up there it is fairly level there are plenty of lovely places to walk to from here where the terrain is more challenging. There are also quite a few species of rare plants for the botanists. Walk along the coast path from here going west to St Mary's Bay and beyond to Sharkham Point for the most fantastic views.

Love the views from up there but not a place for unheld children or dogs - nothing to stop them tumbling in a straight fall to the bottom of the cliffs!
Very narrow road with passing areas to get there but good car park at the end!
