even if you have never played golf before this is a good way to spend a couple of hours. Fun for adults and children. We have been going with a group of friends and it is very enjoyable and not too expensive.Easy to get too on the bus route out of brixham and a good way to try out golf but without having to buy lots of expensive equipment.

When it first opened many moons ago you had some strange clubs you had to change the angle. Now you can use your own gear which is way better or they will loan you normal clubs. The place is kept immaculately with a helpful little pro shop run by really nice people.

It can get really busy but slightly out of season it is a really fun place for maybe 1 and half hours, not too expensive and is good for complete hackers and good golfers.

I think it's a great place

Kept like a private golf club in really nice surroundings.

With the lightweight ball it can be played safely for kids and adults alike. Although it can still be challenging and gives a good couple of hours sport.

We always go when my friends are down for the weekend, instead of the local golf club!

I have visited here several times in the past, and only recently returned for the first time in many years, having been playing at the Shaldon Pitch and Putt. The course was pretty similar to how I remembered it, generally well looked after, and still with it's unique lightweight ball. The course is 18 holes, and these vary in length from around 40 to 100 yards or so. As mentioned, the balls are very lightweight (hollow I think), and so do not fly very far even if you whack them. The 40 yard holes require about a half swing, whilst for the longer holes then you will probably need two shots to the green. This does mean that the balls are quite highly affected by the wind, so what was a good shot can quickly fly 20 yards to the right!

When I visited last week the course was using some 'winter greens' - they could have been trimmed a little better, hence only the four star review. The cost is £6.50 a round and I think any golfer should visit the course at least once for completeness!
