Visited this restaurant on the strength of good reviews. The starter of scallops was wonderfully cooked and presented, and the wine was very good and reasonably priced. However, my wife and I ordered the brill fillets from the specials board. But there was nothing 'special' about it. It tasted bland and looked as if it had been in the freezer for months. Not good when you're eating old fish whilst looking out of the window at the harbour which is full of the fresh stuff. We will not eat there again.

Called in on the off chance of a table and were lucky enough to get lat one - number of other reviews with same situation speaks volumes - it is deservedly a very popular restaurant. Large portions of food - really excellent food. Service was quiet, unobtrusive but pleasant. I would certainnly go back and I would need to book for fear of missing it. Please give them your custom, you will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely evening here. We went in on the off chance and asked if we could have the free table by the window but they said it was reserved and found us another. A little while later they came over and said the people for the reserved table hadnt come so would we like to move which was nice. Food was absolutely gorgeous and lovely views over the harbour.

Excellent small bistro style restaurant with a view of the harbour (need to pre-book for window tables ). Family run, fresh sea food very good value would be about double the cost in most city centre restaurants .£50 to £60 for a couple with two courses and a bottle of wine.
