Lovely position with seaview. As the menu states, expect to wait at least 25 mins for your food so don't be in a hurry here, just relax, chat and watch the shore. Especially in summer school holidays.
Staff were very good, a little bust-up from one of our party (table of 8) about the wait but quickly resolved between them. We were there in a very busy time of year and the food, when it came, was very good.
Will definitely keep this one on our list.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews on here and couldn't have been more disappointed!! We had our table booked for 8.30 p.m. and were squeezed into a corner by the bar, on a table that simply shouldn't have been there based on the space available: uncomfortable and awkward, especially as there was a group behind us that I virtually became a part of!! The arrival of the menu didn't improve things - there was only one special left, which was sardines and that didn't seem a very appealing option. If you want to eat food that you can buy anywhere in the UK, then this is the place for you. There was nothing unique or regional about this place at all - the food had to be from a catering company as there is no way this food is homemade. If you are happy to have food that you can get in a chain pub, such as Harvester or in a 'two for one' then head to this place. The staff and the setting were the only positives to the evening. Head into Brixham town and find the small gems that offer fresh specials - it's is a haven for them!!!

We called in on Sunday Bank holiday evening a little late (having booked) & were fortunate to have been given a table upstairs upon the agreement that we would be finished in one & a half hours, being a bank holiday during the holiday season they were seriously busy, as usual the food arrived promptly, the waitress was friendly & we kept our part of the bargain & were finished just before the agreed time . All the staff were there to help make the evening enjoyable, the food was just right & the view is to die for.

We popped in for lunch as looked quite nice, right on the breakwater beach with a car park that was quite full which looked promising. We soon learned that not everyone in the car park was eating at the restaurant as was quiet for a lunchtime in August. We sat upstairs with lovely views across the bay. The tables were very sticky, needing a good clean and the windowsills were full of things for sale lined up with bits of food and dirty napkins littered amongst them. Our food arrived which was below average, chips were cold and my friend had a side salad which was incredibly slimy! We ordered soft drinks that did not taste like the brand name as advertised but cheap alternatives. We mentioned the cold chips and slimy salad to our waitress whose response was 'ohhh sorry!' With no offer to replace them with fresh! All in all the service was smiley but there is no customer service. It's a shame as the setting and views are lovely but the food was of service station quality and the whole place looks like it needs a very good clean.
