This is quite a small site, just a few caravans and a number of chalets. It's great if you want to base your self in a lovely area, but don't really want to use any on site facilities. Brixham harbour is just a 15 minute walk with far reaching views out to sea and Torquay, and there is a small cove minutes away (down a steep hill!) Our caravan was lovely, brand new this year and spotless and also well equipped. The site itself has a small toddler pool, which was very warm and a larger indoor pool which was warm and clean. We didn't use the club house, there is no children's entertainment, just a singer which starts around 9pm. I would definitely recommend this site mainly because of the location, it's lovely being able to walk straight into the harbour. PS. It helped that we had fantastic weather!!

Booked this as a late deal, had a brand new caravan, so very clean and smelt new. Not much on site for the children, But other places to visit all close by, Ideal to stay at this park as a base. Staff really friendly, Pool quite small and no lifeguard so kids under 15 not allowed in there on their own. Shop... could do with being open more hours. On site club, quite small, but again staff very friendly, Meals looked lovely, Pool tables kept the kids amused for hours, Could do with some more things to occupy the kids. Kareoke would be good in there and some other fun entertainment. At the end of the day we paid £130 for 4 nights, and for that price it was good value. Would def go back.

We stayed during the 2009 BBQ summer! Arrived early so had to wait for caravan to be cleaned. Once in, the Caravan was very clean and well equipped. I got the impression the Chalets did not meet up to this standard. Club house basic food can be quite good. Brixham is a nice walk away. Visit Cherston Cove (turn left out of camp) it's a bit of a steep walk but well worth it when the tide is in the bay.

We arrived early at the holiday park to be told our caravan, was being cleaned, we wondered around the site looked through the window there was not a cleaner in site. After about 10 mins we recieved a call to say the caravan was ready, we opened the door and a terrible smell hit you, the caravan was filthy, damp& smelly, there were cobwebs, spiders, dead fly, stains and grease on the cooker, mold in the shower and the window s you could not see through for dirt.
We went back to reception who were lovely & said they would send the cleaners back, which they did, but the cleaner, could not see anything wrong with the caravan, so we asked them to leave , and spent the next 3 hours cleaning the caravan. We then went back to reception upset that the start of our holiday after a seven hour driver with 2 kids we had to start cleaning.
Unfortunatly we could not upgrade or be moved to a different site, and they would not refund our money but were offered a free meal at club house, so for kids sake decide to stay..
The meal in the club house was ok, but other holiday makers would take there dogs into the club house and sit them on the tables that the meals were served on with there DIRTY POOHY BACKSIDES which we found disgusting and a HEALTH HAZARD. Hence we never ate in there again.
The entainment is rubbish a young lad singing karoke cowboy songs..
The holiday park overall is well kept, but could do with updating including all the accomodation very tatty, dirty, ok if were in the 80s..THere is a swimming pool which is quite warm but only 1.2 metres deep and a outside pool for toddlers.
Nothing else to do for the childen, ours were 9 & 15,so we had to venture off site..
The beach that you can walk to from the park is a tiny cove full of rocks ,stones, dogs & poo and is down a steep incline..
Overall we enjoyed our holiday off site,we had beauiful weather and visit many beaches around the area, the children also went horse riding at heyes farm, quad biking, go karting & golfing.
We had never been on a holiday like this before alway gone abroad, but my family enjoyed it & the children want to go on a caravaning holiday again, but we will never go back to brixham holiday park..

A trip away with friends was on the cards and we wanted somewhere that was good value and clean. Despite the wonderful British summer we were promised, which naturally made us feel damp, we had a fantastic time exploring the area. The all be it steep climb to the cove was great to get out and get some fresh air and not that we had the opportunity to visit (weather) there is an amazing sandy beach around the corner.
