“Deli delicious”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

At first you might think this an odd combination of place to eat and place to shop. But look with a discerning eye, ponder the nature of synergy, and it all makes perfect sense. As a place to eat - it is clean as a whistle, has an interesting menu based on local ingredients all cooked with a sense of care and attention. The staff are very enthusiastic, helpful and cheerful. We went on a cold November day and found a perfect antidote in the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the food. Hand dived scallops were chosen by my wife. All local, all fresh, and a proper number of them on the plate. Less adventurously, I chose the ham, poached eggs and fries. The ham was thickly cut, hot from the griddle and accompanied by a brace of eggs that had been neatly trimmed after being cooked to perfection. The fries were light, golden and very crispy. I'm afraid my wife stole some of them from my plate.

The bill was very reasonable indeed. I don't think the deli really sets out to be a restaurant - but it gives some who do a real run for their money.

So, visit Brixham - it's going up in the world, with a reals sense of living community. When you do, go to the deli, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent local food & wine, excellent service and attention to detail. Good value for money. Book a table as seating is very limited.

“Homity Joy and Key Lime Bliss”

Perhaps diligence and a crisp service in a busy, thriving Deli could be mistaken for 'rudeness' or perhaps some folk just enjoy submitting a moan. Come on, get a grip! The Brixham Deli is one of the foodie highlights of the town. Always welcomed with a smile, excellent service and sumptious dishes. Who else sources local and continental delicacies on Fore Street? Er, no one. Whenever we are down, we regularly eat in this cosy nook accompanied by small children and grandparents(it's the only place that my daughter will eat soup!) and, without fail, find it to be truly scrumptious!

“Brixham's finest place to eat”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Just visited Brixham again with the faimily and had lunch, coffee and cake a few times this week at the Brixham Deli. The food is superb, coffee first class and fresh cake out of this world. Roy the owner is always welcoming always make sure we get a table and served very quicklly. I always reccommend the brixham Deli to friends and family and my brother dropped in last week recalling that his food was one of the best meals he had ever experinced. He frequents Westminsters finest eaterys so he should know!

Will be back again at Christmas to experince the superb food of the Brixham Deli!

Keep up the great experince and food and ignore the small minded and bitter comments on here1

“Can't decide what it wants to be; cafe or shop?”
Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

Walked past this shop many times and always seemed to have people inside.

I have to say I was more interested in the produce on the shelves (farm shop kind of things) but with all the tables and chairs all over the place couldn't get to the shelves without standing in a tables' personal space!

Needs to decide if they are a cafe or a shop as I walked out in the end!
