Eat here quite often the carvery is good value for money and the pub itself is in a good location with plenty of free parking! Nice cosy atmosphere inside with a lovely log fire. We only tend to eat here during the week as we know it will be quite and the staff are always friendly and laid back. Only criticism I do have is the gravy is slightly to thin and the young chef serving the carvery always appears very grumpy and very stingy on the meat! Apart from that you are welcome to help yourself to as much you can fit on your plate :-) cannot comment on the other food as only go here for the carvery but if your looking for a half decent roast this is the place!

An old coach house with blots of character. A very good lunch menu and the lunch itself was great value for money (large portions), well worth a visit.

The calvery is very nice and always hot and fresh. However the plates are very small and you dont get a lot on them. Not the cheapest but worth a visit.

I would say this is a normal typical pub establishment. Carvery seemed busy but we went with the bar menu. Everything was quite acceptable at a reasonable price, nothing to complain about and nothing to get excited about either.
