Our party of 6 adults, 2 x 2 year olds and 2 lively springers were welcomed with open arms and offered good hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the food was good quality, good portions and we received good service

We visited for Sunday lunch, the staff were really helpful and very friendly, they accommodated all 8 of us including 2 children + our 2 dogs in the snug area which was great. Food was lovely and very good portion sizes and great value for money. They made sure we had everything we needed during our meal. Lovely pub, nice and clean, toilets were very clean and also had baby changing facilities. The games room was a hit with the children and dads. Thanks again for an excellent meal and stay.

Visited Easter weekend and everything was excellent as always and we always have a meal here when we visit the area (3 or 4 times a year). We hadn't booked but the landlady said we could wait in the bar area and she would find us a table, however the table in the bar area was fine. The choices were great and when the food arrived our son and girlfriend were overwhelmed with the size of the portions, the quickness and how lovely and hot the meal was. It was about a £1 per meal dearer than say the Red Barn but the food was 100% better. Looking forward to our next visit already. Thanks to the owner and staff.
