We spent two nights here at the end of November visiting relatives in the area. We have been coming to Braunton for many years for this purpose and have tried all sorts of different accommodation and this is by far the best. We really liked the clean, fresh decor, Linda and Nigel were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good. Linda cooks a mean scrambled eggs and the full English was faultless. We will definitely be back when we come to Braunton again.

By far and away the best b&b we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Nigel and Linda, they were attentive, a mine of local information and were genuinely interested in us and our plans.Cannot fault them or the accommodation and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here for a mid-week break and it was the most amazing trip. I am sure that this little B&B is the nicest I have ever stayed in. Linda and Nigel have thought of absolutely everything to make the stay really special. It was the little touches like homemade cake and tea when you arrive and the sunny and super comfy lounge with big armchairs and a big stack of books to make you feel really at home. Awesome food at breakfast as well. The rooms were really light and airy with a good comfy bed and clean modern bathroom. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend this to anyone. Really memorable and hoping to go back and stay again!

Just to say my partner and I had a very warm welcome at the Kingsacre House from Linda, Nigel & Sonny (the dog) along with welcome tea, coffee and homemade cake! :@) The breakfast was lovely with various choices, including the granola pot, the room was nice and bright, comfortable and clean, felt very relaxed during our stay and would definately be coming here again! Having driven from London on a busy Friday afternoon being greeted with a hot cup of tea and some delicious cake was "just the ticket". We were met by Linda and shown to our room. The first impressions were, welcoming, clean and very friendly.
We did not meet Nigel until the following morning when we were asked what we would like for breakfast. Linda had pointed us in the direction of "the Thatch" where most of North Devon seemed to have gravitated that Friday - good food but better beers and ciders and a live band!
On Saturday morning, I had a superb cooked breakfast and my wife had a brilliantly presented (and tasty) museli, yoghurt, nuts etc healthy "sundae". My scrambled eggs (made with cream) were excellent - a must have (they are sourced locally from the farm across the road).
Nigel and Linda's style is very relaxed yet attentive....they have struck the right balance and opening up their home with it's fresh linen, clean and bright living and dining areas and local knowledge (ask Nigel about the surfing) sets them apart.
A great place to stay, that we would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
