We had a wonderful meal at the Boathouse last night. Fantastic value for money with an excellent choice on the Tennerfest menu and wine at £10 per bottle too! The staff looked after us really well and were very friendly even though we were a large party of 12 including a baby for whom they provided a high chairand even little baby knives and forks!!

Thank Shanimary

This year, the Boathouse once again has stayed true to the meaning of 'Tennerfest' - 3 course meal for £10 during the month of October. The great thing is that you can also buy a bottle of wine, red, white or rose, for £10 - what a cracking offer. The meal was delicious, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I try and frequent those restaurants who keep to the Tennerfest tradition of charging the £10, some restaurants are now charging up to £20 for 3 courses, so the Boathouse is well worth a visit.

Eight of us went for Sunday lunch, dining off the Tennerfest menu. The service was good, food and choice both fine and very good value at £10.
The place is let down by the uncomfortable seats and inadequate toilet facilities. Also the "warm" apple pie was warm outside and icy cold inside.

We went to Guernsey for the day to make the most of Tennerfest and the boathouse had a great menu at three courses for £10. Luckily I had booked in advance as it was really busy and the table we had was really nice and overlooked the harbour. There were tables at the front of the restaurant that were really cold so I would recommend booking in advance and requesting a table inside at the back. The service was great, we were well looked after and it was such a relaxing place we felt comfortable sitting there eating, drinking and chatting the afternoon away.
All the food we had was very tasty, I would recommend the sea bass, it was excellent and cooked to perfection and well seasoned.
I would recommend going here during Tennerfest as it's amazing value for money.
