Table was not cleaned. The salt and pepper cruets stack to the table. Ordered a plain salmon fillet with large salad. The salad comprised of 3 cherry tomatoes and a small pile of leaves.
The chicken supreme was dry and hard on the corners. looked like being heated in the microwave.
place was very busy, so it was a pointless to raise a complaint.

Went here on our last night in guernsey! Entrance nearly put me off as it is up an alley to the side of the main pub and it was a bit dark and uninviting. However once inside the place is lovely and we got to pick a nice window seat on the top floor overlooking the marina. Service was good but they weren't really busy so not a good test however they were quick to come over and give us menus and take a drinks order. Starters were excellent taste wise but very small! Mains were ok not exceptional as were the desserts! We loved the view, the decor, the service but the food didn't have the wow factor. It's worth a visit but would not be a favourite place to eat for me.

Best fresh food stop. This was a cruise stop in St. Peter Port. We took lovely pictures and would like an email address to send to restaurant.

Decor is gorgeous in the bar/casual eating part of the Nest and the views were fab. If you can try to eat in the top floor but a window seat downstairs is equally great - worth requesting. Food was generous and good (rare cooked steak and a chicken dish). The service attentive to the point of finding a bottle of unoaked chardonnay from the wine cellar. Bar was very busy as well when we visited. Would also recommend for a few 'girls drinks' with a light snack on a Thursday night.Yes, would go again.

Went here with work colleagues and we all really enjoyed the food. The service was attentive for us although i note some reviewers disagree. The only disappointment was that when we booked we asked to be near the viewing window and were actually seated on the ground floor with no view whatsoever.
