Took my wife, step son and my wife's Aunt to Pier 17 last night.
All agreed it was a fantastic experience.
Met by Seamus at the door and shown to table 2 in the conservatory overlooking the harbour.
The maitr'd was not there and she normally rules with a rod of iron and is very efficient. however we had the same waitress as last month and she was very friendly and very efficient.
Great meals had by us all including crab cakes (delicious), fierce and firey (delicious) and Seamus's scallops ( again delicious)
Seamus came around to check if all was alright and to have a quick chat as we go back a long way.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening as there was a real buzz in the restaurant. Lots of french boats in the harbour with lots of hungry sailors seeking sustenance.
Pier 17 does not look like much from the outside but the views, service and food are all magnificent.
Anyone visiting Guernsey really must go BUT book well in advance as it is a locals favourite.
