Just returned from a stay at the Bella Luce, 31/8-2/9, and although not normally a tripadvisor reviewer we felt we had to jot down a few short words to pass on our thanks to all the staff, especially the front desk and managment, who displayed standards of customer service above and beyond the normal. Our stay was wonderful for many reasons but we had a few hiccups that were always dealt with immediately and efficiently by the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel for all visitors to Guernsey and hope to return next year, and can't wait!

I booked at the Bella Luce at very short notice and with no real knowledge of the hotel or any particular expectation above that of it appeared to have a good rating and positive reviews.
The hotel surpassed those expectations in all departments. My room was very well presented and luxuriously equipped, facilities were top notch.
My stay was only overnight but I was made to feel like a returning friend. All of the staff were friendly and extremely attentive. I did not dine in the restaurant but instead had an excellent bar meal in the cosy bar lounge.
It seems nit-picking to mention that the single glazing of the windows overlooking the garden meant that conversations of other guests enjoying an alfresco meal or drink were clearly audible in the room.
I would have no reservation in recommending this hotel to all visitors to Guernsey.

Our family recently went to Bella Luce in Guernsey and we have been disappointed by it considering that it is in "the most luxurious hotels in the world", and also that is is rather expensive and we should expect excellence in all parts .
First, it is located at 5 minutes from the airport and flights start at 6.30am and are frequent.
Thehotel and the rooms have a nice design, but I don't understand the category of this hotel:
There is no black out in front of the windows, yhe entrance room doors keep slamming as the self -closing system is too fast, and we can hear the doors of all the corridor bedrooms, the toilet flush is not working smoothly, the shower curtain is not efficient and water floods in all the shower room, the deluxe suite overlooks the parking and is next to a noisy plant unit. One mattress was sagged and we had to tell it twice to the reception.
As for the restaurant, even if the food is all right, the service is totally inefficient, slow, taking wrong orders and serving the wine after the meal has arrived.
I hope it was only bad luck and wish it improves with the time

We absolutely loved this hotel. From start to finish we were looked after and pampered. We were upgraded at no extra cost as it was my birthday and they even arranged a cake and champagne to be delivered to our room on the morning of my birthday. The rooms are small but very well presented with lovely extra touches like the orchids in the room. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help with anything.

The hotel is situated in the countryside but very close to St Peter Port, and has plenty of parking.

The pool is warm and deep and there were no kids there which was fabulous.

The gardens were lovely and the lunches divine. The two cats Bella and Luce are really sweet and sooo affectionate.

All in all a fantastic stay

Our stay at Hotel Bella Luce was absolutely amazing. Impeccable from start to finish! Everything the hotel promised upon booking the room several months ago, was delivered and more. Reception staff are friendly, knowledgable and extremely helpful - even giving us the weather forecast for the day ahead so we could plan where to go on the island! Our room (105) was above everything we expected; huge comfy bed, lovely sofa, air-conditioning for the warm August nights, bath tub in the corner of the room, handy dressing area and big stylish bathroom with sandstone tiled walk-in shower. We will definitely be wanting this room again! The food in the restaurant is beautifully presented (breakfast, lunch and dinner), superb to taste and the service of the staff is excellent and beyond all expectations. They even remembered the bottle of wine we ordered 2 nights previous and where we said we would be going for our day trips! The bar, cellar lounge and gardens are comfy and relaxing. The pool area is still sunny in the early evening - perfect for catching the last sun rays of the day. Couldn't fault this hotel in any way and we cannot stop talking about it to all our friends and family. Thank you to all the staff there and we will certainly be returning for our next trip to Guernsey.

Room Tip: Having only seen inside Room 105, I can only comment that this room is fantastic for luxury, style and comfort. Highly recommended!
