Lovely hotel with old fashioned style service in a country setting yet within walking distance to St Heliers. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly. Professional. Unfortunately the spa was not yet open but would love to return to try it out. We had two large garden rooms with patios and garden furniture overlooking the croquet lawn, swimming pool and Lake. Food was unbelievable ! Breakfast was wonderful. Altogether an experience you should not miss. Thank you Longueville Manor.

Booked the summer break three nights dinner bed and breakfast with an additional night free but we needed to buy our evening meal - included a hire car, welcome drink and "gift". The hire car was not exactly free despite having our own excess insurance - we still has to pay general car insurance for four days at £52. If using a sat nav - post codes do not work in Jersey. When we arrived we struggled to find somewhere to park - there may be an overflow car park but it was not signed. We were welcomed and our luggage taken from us as we checked in. Reception was very good with great explanations and a tour of the facilities. We were upgraded from a superior room to a deluxe room - facing the rear of the hotel thankfully as the front facing rooms must have been quite dark due to the overgrowth of ivy etc. Room was OK - carpet stained but everything else was as we would expect - although this was an expensive break and we would have expected tea and coffee facilities in our room. Food and service were exceptional. The pool area and outside facilities were very good. Airport access is good but we had a hire car I am not sure about other modes of transport - however only about 5 miles to the airport.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back facing the pool area - these seem to avoid the full sun as there is no air conditioning.

Stayed at Longueville Manor for a short break (4 nights) in June. Room fine - lowest grade as booked as package through Condor Ferries and upgrade not available. Basic but good value for money. Service faultless and restaurant (half board) amongst the best food and service ex have ever had. Pool area and grounds lovely. Car Park small but was an overflow. A little way from centre of town (half hour walk) but easy to drive anywhere in Jersey.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel quieter.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay. We like to walk/bike and explore whilst on our hols and are usually out during the day so maybe this hotel was not a good choice for us. However we do love very good food/drink and a quiet room with a comfortable bed.
From our point of view the hotel can briefly be explained as follows:-

Good bits: heated outdoor pool, pool relaxation area, brilliant breakfast, exceptional meals and great selection of wines, lovely extensive gardens (inc a vegetable garden used by the kitchens), good sized rooms with huge baths - these maybe difficult for some to get in/out, exceptional personal service, car parking. Room effects are a nice touch (plants, candles!, Evian water, fruit, sewing kits etc.). It isn't flat and boring like a corporate hotel!

Things we may have expected: air conditioning, the room was hot we kept our windows open. Our room was at the front of the hotel so with open windows, was a tad noisy. A shuttle bus facility could help as the hotel is not close to St Helier - the bus stop is down the road and the hotel do offer to get you a taxi is required

The hotel is expensive (the meals/drinks are too but both are very good), it is small and a well run family hotel. Well worth a short stay or for booking to have a special meal.
