We stayed at the hotel at the end of January for 3 nights. We loved everything about this boutique hotel. Loungueville Manor is beautifully decorated and when we arrived there were candles burning everywhere, very atmospheric. The room very beautiful with a large bathroom and view to the stunning garden. The staff are the very best, they are very polite and the service is great. We had dinner two of the nights and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

A birthday - what to do? The choice was obvious, Sunday Lunch at the Longueville. Never been disappointed by anything, ever, and the service and food remain as good as ever. And the staff are sublime.

Quality at this level is never cheap. If you have a problem with that, go somewhere else.

Stayed again at Longueville Manor this week. The service from the staff is simply the best ever, so polite, courteous and nothing too much trouble. The room with en suite bathroom was enormous and overlooked the pool area. Dinner was superb as always, Andrew Baird really is a top drawer Chef. Couldn't resist the cheese board this time which has to be the largest and most varied anywhere - plus the waiter gives you a potted history of each one you select. Fantastic hotel be it for business or pleasure.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade if available.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 5 nights late January / early February. Longueville Manor is full of history and is glorious. On arrival we were very kindly up graded to a Junior suite, this was much appreciated with spacious bathroom, comfy beds, lounge area, huge T.V and wonderful views of the gardens and grounds. Everywhere is immaculately kept and all staff are very professional and helpful making guests feel valued and special. We intended to dine at the hotel on the first night and then sample other restaurants on Jersey all other evenings. WRONG! After dining the first evening we booked for the rest of our stay! The food is divine, exceptional in fact! the whole ambience of the dining room, standard of service and the delicacy of flavours creates an unforgettable experience.
If you have read any of my other reviews you will think that I always rate the places I stay highly. This is because I choose where I stay wisely and Longueville Manor was certainly a very wise choice. We will return without doubt and the sooner the better! Pedro the maitre de maison is delightful and very visable making sure that the whole hotel runs smoothly, he cares, in turn his staff care resulting in a wonderful experience for his guests.

Our stay and celebration meal at Longueville will be remembered for a long time to come! It really is 'the stuff of dreams'. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was excellent. The bathroom vast with lovely touches like a candle, complete with matches and a fresh orchid laid on top of the facecloths. Fresh apples and bottled water were welcome touches. The bed was very comfortable and this, coupled with the quiet made for a good night's sleep. Everything had been thought of down to a much needed umbrella and Hunter wellies! The lounge areas were very cosy and welcoming. The food is to die for! I just wish I could have had 3 courses! The cheese trolley needs to be experienced to be believed. Each course was beautifully cooked and presented. My husband's banoffee soufflé was a work of art. Excellent breakfast too. The staff are so wonderfully friendly, we never once felt out of place - we were treated like royalty and we certainly aren't! We will return.

Room Tip: Go for a superior room.

we have just returned from having sunday lunch at Longueville and would advise all of you to choose somewhere else to spend your Sunday afternoon.

Service was poor and the food was not much better. Waited far to long to order drinks and then 25 mins at table for first service.

Had beef sirloin, but quite easily have been horse as you could not taste anything other than the burnt onion gravy.

Not even asked if everything was ok.

but its true. A top hotel that deserves its praise from the moment you arrive until departure, it oozes class.
We visited on a deal with secret escapes (after hitch with travel due to catamaran cancellation because of weather warning that never came but hey ho - we flew instead at cost- hint - dont go by boat in winter!)
Our room was large with extra touches and good size bathroom- 1st floor, our friends was ground floor with similar furnishings and touches. The only gripe from all of us was that the pillows were too soft and floppy, we were all using 3 and still that wasnt brilliant but a small problem when everything else was wonderful.
The main reason to come here though has to be the food. We all raved about our selections from fish to beef and veggie. Do save yourself for the cheese trolley which has to be seen if not tasted - but best tasted!
Couldnt afford to stay here at rack rate but a wonderful treat if you can get here.
