Second visit to Longueville and it justs gets better and better. Such lovely staff and food simply delicious. Even a bottle of chilled champagne in our room when we arrived was a lovely surprise -Don't think there is a better place to stay on the Island.

Room Tip: The suites on the front are lovely, beuatifully themed and comfortable. There is a very contemporary...

Spent four nights at Longueville Manor in September with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandson. The atmosphere in and around the hotel was so peaceful and nice and the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. I had a seafood platter, half a lobster on top of its own shell which was filled with crab meat and prawns, I always thought lobster on its own was the best, this was better! All other meals were to perfection. We had a gorgeous few days, oyr stay at Longueville Manor was quite simply gorgeous.

Room Tip: The outdoor pool was cooling off in late September, but lunch around the pool was very relaxing and...

Staff are beyond belief - you are totally looked after. We arrived and were greeted by staff who parked our car and showed us to the room. The room was delightful with beautiful views over the garden. You would not believe the breakfast!! The choice is vast with top notch ingredients. I just wish I had a bigger appetite. We had a tennerfest lunch one day - again everything superb. Would defintely recommend this hotel to anyone who is a 'foodie'.

Room Tip: Just to be aware there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room and if you have it brought to your r...

We have just returned home after spending 4 days at Longueville Manor Hotel. We had a wonderful time, the hotel is so well organized and the staff are all so accommodating, so helpful and polite. We were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful. The four poster bed is to die for, footstools are provided to get into the bed! and in the en-suite bathroom and to lay in a huge bath watching the television.....such decadence. The quality of the food is unbelievable and again the attention to detail. All this made such a wonderful break and we will certainly be returning.

We stayed for 4 nights from 21 October 2012, we have had meals at the hotel before but decided to spoil ourselves and book a short break. On checking in we were upgraded to the Tower Suite which was fabulous pure luxury. From the moment we arrived we were treated to impeccable service, sensational food and luxury accommodation. Will be returning hopefully in the not so distant future.

My second visit in a month, with a third planned in two weeks time, it's tennerfest in Jersey so you have to take advantage and all my friends want to eat here. After a visit I am sure you will understand why, the surroundings a 16th century manor house, attentive staff, with just the right amount of reserve and good food. You really can't go wrong it's so relaxing, if you eat here outside of the tennerfest festival or off their table d'hôtel menu, the cost will start to rise, but when comparing this hotel with similarly establishments around the world it is still good value for money, about £43 a head, with an aperitif, half a bottle of wine per person and coffee. Of course it all depends how much you pay for the wine, my choice was towards the lower end of the scale, but each wine was excellent value. I usually find that at the better establishments there is no need to splash out on wine, as the sommelier has done his job and each wine is the best in its class and Longueville Manor is no exception.
