Though this hotel is by the sea, we could hardly see the sea from our room. We had paid for a sea view room! The windows were not even cleaned. The hotel is not very clean and the swimming pool is nothing like a proper spa.
The buffet breakfast has variety but overall not is well cooked (for hot breakfast). The staff serving breakfast are very good. The hotel is located a good 20 minutes walk from the city centre. There is a bus every 15 minutes.

I booked my mum into this hotel on the recommendation of little escapes as it had just been upgraded to a 3 star hotel. They had a sea view room, which was clean and had the nice view over Havre Des Pas beach. I can only re-iterate what every one else has said and that the trade off for the view is that it is noisy being on the front and on a main road, and with no air-con there is a need to open the window in the evening. Bus stop outside the hotel which made commuting around the Island easy. Food was lousy in the hotel both at breakfast and dinner.
Overall having paid roughly £40 a night B&B then I'd say it was a good deal.

Room Tip: Skip the sea view and go for a room at the rear of the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights , room was lovely little bit noisy because we were at the front of the hotel and cars were going past but by about 10 was quite again . Breakfast there was loads to choose from , we walked into town and only took 10-15 min and was a lovely walk , the first night we had a meal over the road at a lovely pub and it was great a full chicken for 2 with all the sides £20 , when we went back to the hotel people were eating and the meals liked lovely , the reason we didn't eat at the hotel the first night was because of some of the review's on here , so because they liked so nice the next night we had a meal in the restaurant and it tasted as good as it looked and a good price too , the only downside for us was the web site we booked on didn't mention the pool etc so we mixed out on that but the staff we friendly and if they could help you they would , the hallway could do with a lick of paint but that's nothing if you think of what your getting for the price ,

Stayed here on a recent business trip. Rooms are reasonable size and clean, hotel is well situated within walking distance to the town, with a beautiful beach across the road.

Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The not so good points are the road at the front of the hotel is very busy and noisy, bear this in mind if you want a sea view room. Finding your way round the maze of corridors is a adventure, the staff are pleasant but with varying command of English.

BAD NEWS. Although I booked double bedded room with sea view and balcony, and even double checked about two weeks before arrival and reception confirmed all ok we arrived and was given a room with two single beds opposite sides of room without balcony with a shower that seemed to be fitted into a small cupboard!
Went back to reception and manageress had to be called to sort out, which resulted in a double bedde room with sea views but still no balcony for first night and then a third room frm second day, as per first expectations. Manageress blamed mix up on girls at reception and did compensate us to some extent by giving us a voucher towards spending on food/drink at hotel.

GOOD NEWS
Hotel located in nice location just outside of St Helier, which meant we walked into town finding differing routes and places to eat along the way.
Must admit although it looks like hotel is more less staight across from sea front it does have a fairly busy road outside and also overlooks local toilets but sea view still good enough.

Hotel staff all very pleasant and helpful and food very good.

Would I say there again? Yes
