We pop in here everytime we go to the garden centre which is pretty regular over the summer months - it is always busy and not surprising why - the food is excellent

Went to Ransoms for lunch with a friend & was not disapointed :)) the home made soup was so delicious, my friend had the goats cheese filo, with a fab sald. Service was great & good value. Will be going back soon.

Thanks Ransoms & see you soon

My family and I ate here for breakfast a couple of days ago and this place really needs to sort out their waiting staff. The older woman that served us barely made eye contact and when we enquired as to a children's menu she just said "NO " and that was that . The food arrived in dribs and drabs and we had to ask for our toast. The food itself was nice but a bit of friendliness would not go astray .Will most defiantly not be returning for food anytime soon . shame as the location and food are both good .

Was in Jersey for 4 days and went to Ransoms Garden Centre... well lucky for me as that meant we found Ransoms Tearooms! Tearooms is an understatement. It is a mini-restaurant and the tearooms name doesn't really do it justice.
We opted for a main meal - half lobster and bits and my guest had scallops.
Fantastic, no complaints from either party and clean plates is always a good sign.
Yes, it's not cheap (£15 lobster/ £17 scallops) but you got a lot for your money.
Nice staff.

Went to Ransoms for the first time in nearly 30 years. The tea room looked lovely and plenty of room. The courtyard area was well maintained and looked inviting. We ordered a cream tea and every thing I asked for was "Oh pastry chef is not here so don't now". Unfortunately I am allergic to a few things so simple asks should be answered. They did not know what was in anything. Had to go just for ice cream in the end so disappointed. The staff were happy and friendly and lots of laughter was coming from within.
