From first arriving at the hotel to leaving a week later I could not fault the service we received. The reception staff were very helpful and all of our requests were dealt with efficiently, together with good advice where appropriate. The housekeeping staff were also very helpful and responded promptly with several requests we made. Most of the staff were very pleasant and friendly whilst maintaining professionalism. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view, looking out over St Aubin's Bay and Elizabeth Castle. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel room (and I've slept in many as both a business traveller and for leisure) and lovely big fluffy towels were provided, not the little skimpy things that I often find in hotel bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from and very well cooked and presented. There was only one morning that we had to wait for a table for breakfast, the other six mornings we were shown straight in to a seat. There is a notice displayed stating that between 9 and 10 is the busiest time and that there may be a wait for a table so we went down expecting to have to wait but we didn't wait long and it was so well organised that their was no worry about "queue jumping". The hotel is ideally placed with just a short walk to the city centre, ferry terminals and good restaurants. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels that I felt were more like 3 or even 2 star but The Radisson Blu Waterfront really does merit it's 4 stars. I would definitely stay there again if I was visiting Jersey.

Stayed here for six nights in a business class room, very big and airy with a great view over the bay. Decor was fairly plain (white, burgundy & grey) and there was a slightly odd smell in the room that I can only attribute to the leatherette desk furniture. Bathroom was clean but nothing special. The trip coincided with the Jersey Airshow and the view of the display was magnificent from the room. The hotel is well located for a quick walk into town or to the bus station. Reception staff were very friendly, bar staff less so. It is also easy to get a Hertz rental car from the hotel.

The only real issue with this hotel is the breakfast service, the hotel just cannot cope with high occupancy, every day but one we had a wait of 20 minutes to enter the dining room. At least the staff managing the entry by room number did it professionally and prevented a fiasco. Must say though that once in, the buffet standard was very good and special orders for eggs appeared promptly.

If you are not staying in a bay view room note there are building works adjacent to the hotel and views to the city might not be that great.

Having booked a room with a view of the town we found that we had been upgraded to sea view and it was excellent! The marina was just below our bedroom window and was a fantastic view. Would recommend booking sea view.
Good parking with voucher issued to cover period of stay.
The hotel is well located with just a short walk to centre of St Hellier. Several restaurants within walking distance. New cinema and activity centre with flume pool etc adjacent.
New building being constructed next door which makes approach like goi
ng through a building site. Would expect this to be finished within 6 months.
Breakfast - mix of traditional to continental. Bacon eggs mushrooms etc self served from heated bowls - food was good. Did not eat in restaurant in evening. Did not use hotel pool.
No drawers in room but storage shelves in cupboard. Very useful iron and ironing board in room to refresh suitcase clothes. Free wifi worked easily although a bit slow.
Would recommend

This hotel is the standard, bland, business 4*. Location offers good views, if slightly inconvenient for town - everything is at least 10 mins' walk away. The rooms are fine, but boring, as are the public areas. Externally, it's an eyesore.

Check-in was very bad. I enquired about a possible room upgrade, due to Radisson elite status, and the receptionist told me that the hotel was sold-out, which was a lie. She then went on to suggest we ate in the hotel and did not leave it because it was "dangerous" to go into town! No-one has told me that one in Rio, Jo'burg, Glasgow or Miami, so I was shocked to hear it in St Helier!

Overall, pretty so-so. Comfortable, boring, some good staff, but also some really bad ones. I'd go back, but wouldn't go out of my way. By the way, we *did* go into town and had a great deal of fun - a good dinner and a memorably good club experience. Thank God we didn't stay in the Radisson all night!

We stayed at the Raddison for three nights over the aug bank holliday. Parking and booking in was easy and the staff helpfull. The room was big and airey with everything you needed. but te be honnest it reminded me of a big travel lodge room but had a good view of the bay. Breakfast on the first two days was no problem and good, but the day we checked out we had to que for 20 mins which meant we had to rush our breakfast to leave for the airport. it wasnt because the breakfast room was full it was because there was only one person taking you to your table. We visited the spa area, the pool was small and on the day we went was full of children with a football !! the sauna wasnt working and the changerooms were poor to say the least, floor was soaking so getting dressed was a balancing act. there were no keys for the lockers so no security for any valuables. 1 towel each supplied by a young boy on the reception who seemed more interested in his lap top. I intended to mention about the state of the changerooms on our departure but there was no one there. all in all a 10 min steam room session wasnt worth the effort. The bar staff and reception staff were friendly and help full. I have stopped in a lot of Raddisons and im sorry to say this wasnt the best. I recomend if you do stay there to book direct with the hotel, we booked through easyjet/ laterooms and paid £180 per night B&B for a superior double which was the same as a business class if booked direct. The hotel is in a good location with some lovely views and was really nice to walk around the marina after your breakfast. But I think if I went back to Jersey I would stay some where else.
