Just had 8 nights at the Radisson in a sea view room. The hotel is in an excellent location, good parking but only 5 minutes walk from the main bus station, good for walkers like us who like to visit different areas but do not wish to at the same start and finish point.

Room very comfortable, good size with air conditioning that works. We both enjoyed the breakfasts and the staff were, on the whole, very pleasant and willing to help with anything. As were the reception staff. Good to see how it looks after the refurbishments, I thought it looked very good, my wife was slightly less keen on the colour scheme but we never agree on anything anyway!

I am sure we will be back, thanks to everyone.

how lovely to drive of the ferry and straight into your hotel in 3 minutes, no map, no angst - you could even walk from ferry and in ten minutes be sipping cocktails by the marina.

Location and free parking are the first attractions but also the hotel has just finished a refurbishment and staff are rightly proud of the smart new decor. Our business room has amazing view over marina and Elizabeth Castle. The room is modern with all essentials - kettle, fridge (empty ready for own use but you can ask for it to be filled), safe, ironing board & iron, air con, good TV that you can swivel to watch in bed or in comfy chairs and a Nespresso machine. The bed was very comfy buy duvet rather thick and hot and only small hanging space for clothes.

We had an excellent meal dining with good wine list in their Waterfront restaurant. Good quality steak and lamb and elegantly presented vegetables of reasonable quantity not just a decoration! Only let down was a tasteless cheesecake but when I only took a mouthful this was noticed and without my asking removed for the bill very rapidly. Breakfast also good quality but seems a little issue with size of dining room for number of guest but may just be as only open a few days and not quite running smoothly as yet.

Room Tip: Do ask for sea view!

Allocated a lovely room (junior suite) overlooking the bay and towards Elizabeth Castle. Huge room - well! two rooms in fact. Bathroom ok. Sofa in the sitting area not the most comfortable though. Good sized desk - but in the bedroom area when it would have been quite nice to have the desk in the sitting area (given that there's plenty of space) - and would give the benefit of natural light.
I ate in the restaurant on all three evenings just because it was more convenient - but suspect that I would have had tastier food elsewhere. Also, one evening, I was sitting in the "balcony" area which meant that I was overlooking another table. It was uncomfortably close, and I'm sure would have felt awkward for the people on the table below as well. Breakfast was OK.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time. We're delighted you were so happy with your junior suite, the views across St Aubins Bay really take your breath away, especially at high tide. Our new look restaurant The Waterfront is now open with an all new A La Carte menu, plush new furniture and fittings warmed by candlelight with snug new booths leading through to a south facing terrace. We hope to see you again soon so ou can experience our sparkling new establishment :)

I have stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in January. The room was very nice and comfortable. The view from the hotel was stunning and those are two very positive elements.

At the beginning of the week, the poor (foreign) staff caught my attention. Especially during breakfast this was not improving my experience. The restaurant in the hotel was not very good either compared to the price. Last but not least, at the end of my stay, the breakfast area was moved due to renovations. The new location has even less atmosphere than the original breakfast area.

For this price there are way better hotels or you must be very keen on the view because that is very nice.

Room Tip: Sea side rooms have a very nice view

Hello, It’s great to see you’ve enjoyed our fantastic rooms with views overlooking the Elizabeth Castle & harbour. We're sorry we’ve let you down during the breakfast times as this is not reflective of our usual high standards. We opened our newly refurbished Waterfront restaurant & bar last week and our super buffet breakfast will not disappoint in plush new surroundings with marina views. The food & drink menus have been given a make-over too, and hopefully we'll see you again soon so we can wow you! Kind regards, Sven Wiltink Food & Beverage Manager

Stayed here over Mothers day from a Friday to a Monday. The Bar and restaurant area has just undergone refurbishment and presents in mauve and lime, coincidentally the same as the Fitzwilliam Hotel in Dublin. The standard sea view rooms are of a good size with a desk and views over the Marina and to the Castle. Although the outside of the hotel is unimaginative, with no balconies and has been described as a carbuncle, the inside is comfortable, new and clean with a nice pool and fitness centre, Food, including breakfast is excellent, though breakfast plates were cold and the coffee luke warm despite being served in thermos jugs. Service is friendly, but can be slow especially for single travellers. Rooms are clean, but mine was forgotten on one day, despite it being requested after I had removed the privacy sign. Bathrooms are new with good showers and products. Wifi is free. My room was 257 and should be avoided due to a set of service doors and stairs being opposite, which both staff and guests use. On the Saturday night, there was obviously a large hen night contingent and noise in the room above and on the stairs was unmissable. Otherwise the room was quiet and well lit, but not available until 2.30 pm on my arrival date. Check out is at midday. Hotel is a short walk from the main street.

Room Tip: Not room 257 or the equivalent on any floor because of the stairs, service usage and its right at th...

Hi there. We're so glad you were wowed with our new colour scheme, we've had so many positive comments already! We're sorry to hear that you were disturbed by noise on Saturday evening. It was the launch evening of our new establishment and we had put on live music so it may have been a more lively atmosphere than usual. We can only apologise for this inconvenience and assure you this was an exceptional circumstance. We're pleased that you enjoyed your super-buffet breakfast - it's quite a spread! We take on board your feedback about the bedrooms and we'll pass these on to our management team to ensure they are addressed. Thanks again and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

The lobby and bars were being refurbed during my stay. The staff were friendly and check in was efficient. The room was lovely and the bed is very comfortable. It is my second stay at this hotel and would certainly stay again. If the temporary bar had been better and breakfast was a bit of a let down, then this would be a 5 star review. It is an excellent location for St Helier. Also, the temporary site for the restaurant was excellent, giving excellent night views across the harbour. The food at dinner was lovely. I read that many were upgraded during this refurb, so it would be nice to be upgraded at my next stay!
