Thankfully they have started doing snack lunches again, not just meals. The staff are excellent. The choices on the menu cater for everyone which is good. Presentation is good, plus the food is hot ( if ordering a hot meal), quick service. Good value for money. Advise to book ahead as it does get very busy lunch times. Keep up the good work.

Four of us dined. Place does not look much from out side but don't be put off. We had a lovely 3 course meal, everything cooked to order in the open kitchen. Daughters boyfriend had the chicken burger, it not only looked fab but also tasted fab. We will be back.

Just had one of the best dinner in So Bar.
Was initially skeptical about having dinner at a bar, but decided to give it go since it's along the way back to the Grand hotel which I'm staying at.

As part of the Tennerfest 2013, SO Bar had their special menu, 2 courses for 10 pounds, 3 courses and so on. Ordered the roast chicken salad for starter and Green curry for main.

Salad: Veg was crisp, fresh, dressing was delicious, tangy taste but with a taste of sweetness, small little details like adding peanuts.For a moment, I forgot that I'm in UK. It tasted as good, if not better than what you get in Singapore (known for widespread of cuisine)

Main: Chicken curry with rice & naan. First taste, it was amazing. In my heart I was thinking this chef knows what he's doing. Honestly, ironic it may be, it's the best green curry I've had. It was creamy, tinge of spiciness, chicken was tender..it was perfect. the rice was nicely good, not too grainy.

Based on my short observation, Chef Tony really puts his heart and soul into preparing the food. Observing the food that were served. The dishes look amazing, he's not just serving food, he was putting a piece of artwork on the dining table.

Chef Tony, keep up the good work! I'll come back to try more of your dishes.

I have eaten here many times and the staff are always friendly and professional. The chef is capable of turning out good value food quickly. Booking is recommended for most lunchtimes but dinner is normally easier to get a table. Overall I really like the place.
