Description: Banjo, a European-style grand brasserie located next to the Market in a restored 10,000 sq ft former Victorian Gentlemen's Club, is the biggest Jersey Pottery venue to date, with two restaurants and a bar, as well as three private dinning and conference rooms for parties, weddings and corporate events. There are also four beautifully decorated bedrooms for overnight stays. The design of Banjo is inspired by some of the most stunning urban brasseries and bars from around the world whilst retaining the best features of the historic St Helier building that was purpose-built for entertaining

I have dined here on numerous occasions and find the whole Banjo experience to be a pleasant one. With the advantage of a recently refurbished characterful building, Banjo has everything. A great bar, also offering a bar menu, two restaurants (but with the same menu), 4 bedrooms and even visiting the toilet is an experience. The food is consistently good and is complimented with a great wine list. The biggest surprise is when one is presented with the bill, it is always reasonable. Keep up the good work Banjo!

A beautifully converted ex gentleman's club with wonderful decor. Banjo has a great ambience and a menu which does showcase some of Jersey's finest. We arrived early to enjoy a pre dinner drink in the Banjo bar where we waited to be served. Although the waitress was polite it was difficult to get her attention to order our drinks. We made our own way to the dining room where we given a choice of table. The waiter was friendly and polite throughout however when the menu's were produced we had to ask what the special dish was. It was not promoted. The food was delicious as was the wine. The truffle Parmesan fries are to die for. In all a fantastic restaurant however the staff could be more attentive.

I had dinner here a couple of days ago and was very impressed! The food is delicious and the wine list was first class! It's probably one of the two best restaurants in central St Helier! Particularly good for a business lunch or dinner but light and fun too so excellent for a romantic date too! It really ticks all the boxes!

Having decided to eat at this restaurant as we had heard it was good. We were terribly disappointed. When we arrrived we were take to the Bar but it was absolutely full, the waitress suggested we went to our table. Oh dear, the noise was just unbelieveable, we could not hear ourselves talk above all the noise. The staff were very helfpul and courteous. The menu was also disappointing, lots of starters, but the main courses were rather sparing. The choices we made we enjoyed, May be we were just unlucky on the evening we went. We will probably go back but may be try it at lunchtime instead.
