The food was great, breakfast lunch and dinner!
Rooms neat, clean and freshly renovated!
The staff are lovely they went above an beyond so thank you!!!!!
Great location easy to walk into the main part of town, near a great little Thai hut on the beach which I highly recommend!
My mother and nan also stayed, with my nan being 84 they had lifts which was a must and the staff would even go out of there way to help her down a step!
They also expressed how lovely it was
So thank you to the ommaroo hotel staff everything was perfect!

My parents stayed at the Ommaroo hotel for their 30th Wedding anniversary. I wanted to arrange for flowers and a bottle of bubbly to be put in their room as a suprise - the hotel arranged this without any problems. They ordered a lovely bunch of flowers and had them delivered on the day they arrived. Chocolates and bubbly were also left in the room, along with a 30th anniversary card which a member of staff went to the shop and brought for me.
I am very grateful to all the staff at the hotel and would recommend staying there to all my family and friends.
My parents are coming home today and have said they wish they were staying longer - they have had a lovely time and commented on how clean and fresh their room was!!

Just arrived back from 6 days at Ommaroo Hotel in Jersey.. What can I say,, been to many very good hotels in Jersey over the past 20 years and all have been very good.. What a location, the Ommaroo is, over the road from the beach and swimming pool, many bars, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes from the hotel, not that you need to leave the hotel as the menu and food there is very good,, breakfast is buffet style with all you can eat,, Made a pig of myself,, Sorry Ommaroo, and keep those eggs frying Mossi... Staff very helpful and polite.. And the room we were in was all completely upgraded to a very high standard.. St Helier centre within 15 mins or less walk and on the level. And a large car park
My wife and I both being local hotel assessors ( Inspectors as you call us ) could see that Ommaroo Hotel had been a very dated hotel in the past but the work gone into this establishment and what is planned for next year I can see this being one of the best Hotels in Jersey.. Would I go back. Definate. I am hoping to return for a couple of weeks in May next year.. Well done Ommaroo from the guests in room 5...

Room Tip: Sea views are spectacular views

Having just returned from a four night stay I have nothing but praise for this Hotel. From the moment my wife and I arrived we were treated with as a previous correspondent described it ‘Old fashion values’ The receptionist swiftly carried our bags to our sea view room. Dinner was excellent with the menu varying daily and value for money. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the waiters who were attentive without being intrusive. Courtesy was of the highest with the manageress having a chat with couples to enquire of any issues. Only one problem does come to mind and that’s my expanding waistband, oh the breakfast was good

This hotel was in a great position, directly overlooking the sea and right opposite the lido. Everything was walking distance and this was a great value hotel with excellent service. The restaurant staff were lovely and provided excellent service and the food was fantastic. We paid extra for sea view rooms with balconies and these were great rooms however, we barely spent anytime at the hotel so probably wouldn't bother to request these again.

Room Tip: Seafront rooms are great if you plan to sit out on the balcony etc. If you are only using the hotel...

I booked for 3 adults in a triple room and asked for a sea view room with a low access shower, as I
would be traveling with my Mum and Aunt both in there late 80's. We were showen to your room which turned out to be not quite what I was hoping for. Three beds yes, sea view yes, low access shower no. The shower was over the bath in what was a cramped bathroom and no good at all for my family. We were offered an alternative room however this would not be available for two days, better than nothing though. On the day the room was ready we arrived back after a day out to find our bags had been moved to our new room. What a difference lovely bright clean room newly refurbished couldn't fault it at all, large bathroom easy access shower and a bath.
The staff are fantastic and they can't do enough for you, from the guys who carry your bags to all the staff in the dining room and the girls on reception. I must give a big thank you to Sonia who help sort our room out and booked tickets for a trip to the opra house.
The hotel is a little dated in places but spotlessly clean. There's plenty of free parking but if your not driving the buses stop just out side.
If you don't fancy going out for dinner the food is good and plenty of it.
WI FI in communal areas, no safe in rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room the other ones are clean but very dated, there is a big difference. Room...
