I'm so pleased that we we're able to experience this superb trip. I don't review everything I go to, it has to either be really good or really bad. This trip was AMAZING!! right up there on my list of high's alongside a husky sleigh safari in Lapland.....

My 5 yr old son and I went on the 2 hr trip to Ecrehous, it wouldn't be suitable for all younger children, but I knew mine would be happy with the speed of the boat and odd bit of spray.

After a short exhilarating ride to the islets with our crew Rich & Dan who were very knowledgeable friendly and fun, we spotted a few seals before disembarking to have a wander around, it's beautiful, so so peaceful.

Returning back to Jersey and happy with how the trip had gone, we spotted dolphins, lots and lots. Our boat was surrounded and we circled a few times while they put on a "show" they were within reaching distance from the boat and we managed to get plenty of pics and video's. It really was amazing to see.

On leaving the boat there was not 1 person without a huge smile, by far the best part of our holiday and I will 100% be returning to experience another seafaris,

Thankyou Guys, keep up the good work. Rebecca & Ricky x

Superb experience, we all got kitted out in waterproofs and life-vests and set sail. Boat was very quick and real good fun (especially at the front!) The guys driving knew all about the island and showed us some lovely beaches and Janvrin's tomb. If in Jersey for only a few days this is a must!

We randomly stumbled upon a brochure in one of Jersey's restaurants for Jersey Seafaris and thought we'd give it a go. Midweek booking was not a problem and we decided to take the captains advice and go to on the Ecrehous Wildlife Tour which lasted 2 hours.

Clear directions were given down to a beautiful harbour called St Catherines. It was advised, as we were on the afternoon trip, to get down to the launch site a little early, have some food at a small cafe situated there and enjoy the views. What a pleasant way to start the trip. The area is beautiful and you can clearly see France.

Right on time we were met by the captain of the boat Richard Stevens who was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We were given a safety briefing before we set off and away we went.

Coming out of the harbour Richard instantly gave us a wealth of information on the area and answered any questions we had, that is, in between giving us a small thrill ride with sharp turns and fast acceleration which he asked if it was okay prior to commencing.

When we got out to the islands were were blown away by the beauty and the amount of nature we saw. There were dolphins on the way to and from the Ecrihous and a number of seals and sea birds once we got out there.

The boat itself is large enough to feel safe with children but also versatile enough to drop you into locations where large boats cannot go. The seating was comfortable and waterproof jackets were provided. Luckily, we were blessed with sunny clam weather and therefore the jackets weren't necessary.

The trip overall was incredibly enjoyably and it's certainly an amazing way to see the Islands hidden treasures. I would highly recommend this to couples, families and those who just enjoy being out and about.

After 2 cancellations due to adverse weather our month long holiday on Jersey
ended with a superb trip to Ecrehous , the boys were great enthusiastic and knowlegable but
they did not say how surreal the place was (not a critisism)nobody could convey that. Had front seats in RIB (should be a surcharge for this) HAIR RAISING. As a volunteer with Eastbourne Lifeboat COULD NOT FAULT CREW OR SAFETY PROCEDURES.

The fast RIB trip gave us an amazing opportunity to visit a remote skerry of islands lying between Jersey and France. We were able to land and spend some time on one of the larger islets, and quickly had access to a neighbouring isle by a pebble bar as the high tide flowed away (as if someone had pulled the plug out of the bath!). Some of the little rocky outcrops are topped by tiny fishermen's huts, most of which are now private getaways.
We started at dawn with a stormy sky and saw magical light effects as the sun came up under black clouds, illuminating the islands and rainbows over mainland Jersey. It felt like we had slipped into another world.
The landscape was so unusual and enchanting that I can't help but give it 5 stars. However, the efficient, friendly and knowledgeable skipper and crew also deserve a high rating. They equipped us with waterproofs and lifejackets for the trip. Although windy, we didn't get splashed much by spray on our whizz across the water.
