We stayed at The Revere from 6 July - 13 July 2014. We were particularly impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. They were always very helpful too. We only had breakfast at the hotel and did not have an evening meal there but the quality of the breakfast was good. The hotel has two restaurants and both seemed to be popular with guests and locals alike. The reason why I have rated the hotel as '4' is because the rooms could really do with up-dating. I notice that other reviewers have commented upon this. The facilities available in our room were very good. However, the room was badly in need of redecorating as it looked somewhat shabby. Also, our room was at the back of the hotel and was very stuffy. Therefore, it would have benefited from air-conditioning. Aside from this, I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet hotel. The hotel does have an outdoor swimming pool which we did not use as it is unheated and the weather at the time was not exactly hot! However, the pool would be a bonus in hot weather.
